Original: (also see an update below) My husband and I bought 2 new reclining couches less than a year ago and bought the 5 yr warranty on top of that. A year ago I would have given a 5 star review because the service was great. However, the threads have separated on both couches and there are already several snags in the material. We bought these couches by recommendation of the sales person because they were supposedly made from a very durable material. When we returned to use the warranty, we were told the warranty purchased doesn’t cover damage in the first year. This was not something disclosed to us upon purchase. Instead we had to file a manufacturer claim which has been denied. Here we are still less than a year later and these couches will probably have to be disposed of and replaced. So the almost $1000 we spent is a waste. We definitely will not be purchasing here in the future. My husband and I have owned 3 different sets of used couches from online yard sales and have owned them for several years and have been able to resell them again in like new condition. This is the first time we have bought brand new couches and they are ruined after less than a year and we haven’t done anything different to these couches that should have caused the damage.
Update: I wish I was editing this review to change it to 5 stars. After emailing Mr. Little who replied to this review, my complaint was forwarded to the store manager. He advised me to file the extended warranty since the manufacturer warranty denied covering the damage. The extended warranty depends on a 3rd party furniture repair company to inspect the furniture. The technician from that company assured me during the appointment that the threading damage was a manufacturer defect and he would write a report to the warranty company saying that. The warranty company then informed me that the report instead said that the threading damage was due to pets and my claim was denied. In conclusion, I spent $1,000 on poor quality couches that were coming apart in less than a yr. The store manager who sold me the couch pushed a warranty that he likely knew would not cover what they say they cover. The furniture repair company and the warranty company are both dishonest. They will use the fact that you have pets as scapegoat to not cover obvious manufacturer damage. The company and their managers seem to care more about how many warranties they sell than keeping their consumers happy.
Keep in mind that most other 5 star reviews were written by customers who just purchased their furniture and received what seems like good customer service. Like I said in the original review, I likely would have given them 5 stars a year ago as well. Once more time has passed, they may also realize they have been sold poor quality furniture that will not be covered by warranties either. I would recommend purchasing your furniture elsewhere from a company that makes better quality furniture. And even then, do not purchase the extended warranty they offer because it is probably the same as the one they sell here at...
Read moreHorrible customer service. I have had my couches since November and they broke down within the first 2 months. We were reassured, the warranty they pushed down our throats, would fix any issue we had. Took months for a technician to come look at our couches that we can’t even sit on because the quality is horrible. Warranty didn’t reach out but photoshopped stains on our couches that are obviously not there and said we abused the couches. When I spoke to the man who sold them to us, he made no effort to solve anything and with a horrible attitude said “we don’t have anything to do with the warranty.” put me on “hold”, and told a customer he was working with the problem I had with him. Hmm.. very unprofessional and shame on you. I still pay $200 every 2 weeks and no issue has been fixed. Save your money, buy off market place and stay away from this money laundering scheme. 👍 keep in mind the 5 stars reviews about how great the salesman’s are is from people WHO JUST PURCHASED new furniture. Of course they are nice. THEY WANT YOUR MONEY. When you have an issue though, they can’t help because the warranty they push and push you to buy is a scam. Life is hard. I work hard for what I have. FFO has made it harder and I will never give positive feed back. You will never change my mind. Randi and Brian can be nice all day long but when it comes down to running a business and keeping customers happy I wouldn’t waste time nor money considering that’s 2 things they can’t seem to do. If it’s seems like I’m upset… I am… it it seems like I’m screwed after paying thousands of dollars in their...
Read moreSales associate was overbearing and didn't give us time to browse and discuss things alone. He needed to do more listening rather than talking. Everyone was friendly I will say. So my grandparents purchased a new bed and we used their delivery service called DK. I was told the bed would be in by Thursday and I would get a call. I did not get one. I had to call him and just 2 days before he had already forgotten about us and the purchase. He said he would check and get back to me so I waited. Friday came at a few minutes to 5 and I called. He said they could do tomorrow. Long story short, their delivery service brought out half the bed and they were still paid in full. I called him to correct this mistake and it was fixed, they brought out the rest of it but it was 6 p.m. and dark out. This is unacceptable with delivery to elderly people. Plus they had the nerve to ask for 40 more dollars. Thank goodness my grandparents refused. Not going to pay for their mistake! I was appalled at that, the lack of communication, the fact that the salesman made us all feel forgotten after our purchase. We will never go...
