Went to Panda Express yesterday…ordered honey walnut shrimp and chow mein. Got home and realized I had received broccoli and beef instead. I am shocked about how bad the customer service was. At first it was fine, I came in and showed my receipt(which they didn’t give back) and explained what was wrong. They told me I would need to pay the $1.50 difference because honey walnut shrimp cost more. I went to get my card out of my car and came back in. No one was there at register so I went to the bathroom real quick. When I came out, a man handed me a tiny box with honey walnut shrimp in it. When I asked what it was, he said he didn’t know and that he was just told him to hand it to me. A girl came back up and told me they couldn’t make me a new bowl. They said to just put the chicken in the bowl I already had. The bowl I had was mixed with beef though…and I don’t like beef…I just wanted the food I paid for… otherwise this would be $12 I spent for literally nothing. So I then asked for a refund because I was already upset with how poorly the customer service was AND I didn’t get what I paid for. The girl said she would have to call her manager first. My boyfriend asked them if they have ever messed up an order before because they didn’t seem to have the procedure planned out for when they do. The girl looked him in the eyes and said “not really”….excuse me. Even chick fil a messes up orders sometimes but they are happy to fix it. I couldn’t believe they were trying to act like Panda Express has never messed up an order before. I have worked in the food business before and to say that no mistakes happen is a lie. She came out after talking to her manager and gave us chow in a different box. I’m confused why they couldn’t have just remade the bowl. It wasted a lot of my day but I wasn’t going to walk away -12 dollars without the food I asked for. I would love to speak to the manager once I find out the number. This was by far the worst fast food experience I’ve ever had. We are also frequent customers who come in a few times a week. My parents own pizza places that I worked at for 2+ years, I remember my mom always telling me to always make it right if a order was messed up. Either a refund or a remake of what they asked for…can’t believe that not all places...
Read moreI purchased a 3 entree and 2 sides family meal in addition to rangoon, spring rolls and veggies online while in the store because it was part of a fundraiser. There was no one in the restaurant when my order came through. Then a young lady comes in, she asked if I needed to order (although I was sitting down) to which I said I ordered online. She goes to the counter, where the staff looked puzzled asking her about me. She told them I ordered online. They made her food. Then they started my order. The staff packed the spring rolls and rangoon first , then began the entree. However, she stopped packing my food, although there was another young lady working the line as well and others working the window, to make a platter for a young man who was taking his break. While on the surface this is nothing to be upset over, it’s what followed that was totally disrespectful, unprofessional and inconsiderate. After she finished checking him out, a group of three men come in and instead of finishing my order which was sitting and getting cold, she went back to the register while the other lady made their orders. After the first man went through I approached the counter to ask if they could finish my order because my food is getting cold. The lady said “No, not right now!” Now I am pissed off because I have paid, my food is sitting and they refuse to finish my order. If this were not for a fundraiser I would have requested a refund. More people come in the store, however, before they got to the counter to order I stood in line so that they would finish my order. At this time the manager helps to complete my order with the other staff member. If this is how you treat your customers some new training strategies are needed, because there are plenty of places to eat and I can just directly give to fundraisers and charities. To add insult to injury, the food especially the orange chicken was nasty. The orange chicken tasted like half a bottle of vinegar had been put in it. And as would be expected, the spring rolls and rangoons were soggy. The sirloin beef was good. Otherwise this was a total...
Read moreThis was the worst experience of my life and I will "NEVER" go back to this place. I recommend that you all stay away from this place because they claim to clean their pots, pans, utensils and other cookware correctly. I'm sorry, but I disagree. When we got our food, my meat smelled like a spoiled dishrag for those of you who know what I mean and the rice had a bad odor as well. Well, when I got my product, it was before my event and I could not return the food until I returned from my event. When I tell you that Jammie or whatever her name is, was very rude to me and treated me like my money had no value. I asked for a manager, but there was no manager on duty that night, nor in the morning on the next day. I have to say that customer service is not like it used to be. Well, long story short, I did not get any help from her or the store manager because they said they are unable to return my food because of how it smelled. I don't know about you guys, but I am not eating anything that has a bad odor and the potential to make me very ill. Just to say this and not give me any options to help with getting a refund was insane and very disrespectful. I also came into the store trying not to speak loudly about my issue, but that didn't work since we were unable to get our money back. I had a pregnant mother in the car and we were not about to eat that disgusting food given to us. I just do not know why these new managers do not understand that it is not your money, the customer is always right and a smile will go a long way. If you are having a bad day, do not go into work. Keep that negativity at home. This is not the last you all will hear of this because I did not like the way I was treated and to get a refund by a check that is going to take weeks to process, is even more disrespectful. I tell you, that if I had been of Caucasian decent, there would not have...
