Waffle House — Restaurant in Conway

I’ve had many Waffle House experiences in my lifetime. But never ever have I had such an entertaining but awful experience. I don’t like saying names but Sebastian (probably a very intelligent guy in some aspects of life) needs to work on his social skills. Me and 4 other people walk in the a 24 hour Waffle House at approximately 10:30 pm a perfectly appropriate time to eat after a concert. We walk in when there are 2 other tables sat and both of them have their food. We are greeted by Sebastian saying that they are slammed and that we would have to wait to get our food. After pacing back and forth for 3 minutes he musters up the courage to ask us out drink order, through a whole complex process of ordering straight off the menu nothing fancy. We get our food which all in all wasn’t terrible for eating at Waffle House. Also forgot to mention that we had 5 people and Sebastian almost blew a head gasket when we all sat at the same table. After getting 2 different tickets because he insisted that he could only put 4 orders on one ticket, our party walks out with still almost no tables in the restaurant. While our whole service issue was happening Sebastian turned down several other parties proclaiming that that were slammed packed as they looked around at the max of 7 people in the establishment (including workers). I would also like to touch up that Sebastian’s coworkers were no help. Don’t mean to bash people but certain people don’t need to work at a restaurant. I want to make this clear that the food is not what I am complaining about, if I wanted good food I would not have wanted to eat at Waffle House. Only 2 workers there tonight. The young male worker was very rude to us. He got out order wrong . My husband ordered a sandwich without onions. He ordered hash browns with chili on them. My husbands order had onions on it. When My husband told him about the onions, they remade the sandwich, and called my husband out about the chili having onions in it. My husband and I had spent 8 hours in the hospital waiting on our son to be seen. My son has diabetes. When we finished eating we waited and waited on the server to come back so we could get doggy bags to take home. When he finally came back to our end of the restaurant,we were going to ask him about take out trays and he was very rude and asked us what did we want now and that we'd just have to wait. My son told him he shouldn't be that rude. When my son went down to talk to the manager, he didn't have any more luck with her. She told my son that she wouldn't be a manager if she didn't know how to talk to her employees. I guess she doesn't know that she should know how to talk to her customers. Since the employees were young people most of the customers were young people . Probably college age or younger. The customers probably weren't 21 and they appeared to be drunk. This is the worst Waffle House in Conway. They say that Conway is getting a new Waffle House on Dave Ward, I wonder how the service will be at that one. In my opinion, Waffle...

I had never been to Waffle House until just 3 Months ago and now I make sure I go there atleast once a week. I love this place!!! There are locations everywhere, the employees always very welcoming and greet me with a smile the second I walk in the door. They are also very knowledgeable about the items that they serve and can answer any questions you may have. I find it a nice feature that they routinely check up on you to make sure you don't need anything and they actually ask if you like your food to make sure it has been done to your satisfaction. I have not had a single complaint yet. Another huge influence is their hours. You can go at any time, day or night, and still order anything the menu has to offer. The food is delicious and cooked perfectly to how you want it. I almost never get dessert when I go to eat, but seeing the desserts while eating made me give it a try. I couldn't believe how good they are for the price they ask. Everything on the menu is a EXCELLENT price. Every time I go I leave beyond full and all for under $10. The whole atmosphere of Waffle House leaves me with a smile on my face every time. It is easily in my Top 3 places to eat EVER!!! Keep up the amazing job Waffle House.
