How to Get from the Airport to Corvallis

If you're going to charge me $260 a night you could offer breakfast. If the mid-grade hotels can do it, so can you. Granted it is a continental breakfast nothing Grand but when I pay them $160 and they can do it so can you. Why is there a QR code in my room asking me to tip the housekeeping? The tipping culture has gotten out of hand it's not my job to pay your employees. If your CEO can make millions why are you asking me to help your housekeeping make a living wage? You need a priority shift. From the very beginning of my interactions with this company- calling reservations to book a room- there was nothing but cold civility. No warmth or positive human interaction. On this trip I've stayed at eight different hotels some as cheap as $100 a night. And I found the cheaper hotels are kinder and more willing to help you out. It's a human to human interaction not a money grab and cold civility. I stayed here because it was the only place within an hours radius that had a room. I wouldn't normally spend this much money on a bed that I use for less than 12 hours. Absolutely ridiculous price for a cheaply decorated room and a bed. No wonder Airbnb is doing so well they offer much more at a lower price! I was on the third floor, the room above me you could hear them walking and dragging a suitcase with Wheels. I could also hear the people next door to me moving around and bumping into the walls. The big box hotels are going to go down. Ugly decorations, over inflated prices and very few amenities. It's a perfect opportunity for someone with honor and vision to take over. You guys are going to be like Blockbuster because you're not willing to change you just keep money grabbing.

As an active member, traveling all over the country in the sports and entertainment industry, I stay in hotels about 9 months out of the year. Several issues 1). This place is way over priced. Paid $265.00 it should be around $145.00 There is no parking lot or sidewalk night time lighting. This place is a liability lawsuit waiting for the perfect ambulance chasing lawyer to file a case against Hilton. Any one who is careful enough to scan your surroundings at night can not see a threat hiding very close by. Major security issue. Additionally you literally can't see where you are walking to avoid a tripping hazard. The room I had on the 3rd floor was average. About the same as a mid grade room. They added a dine in restaurant to try and justify the high price. The lobby has a self check out store with a wine cooler, so maybe that might help. 3) Shame on Hilton for employing a zero English speaking room service attendant. Com'on, please, at this rate you should by all means find American workers . I will lay one compliment. The morning restaurant host was a great dude. Super happy guy.

I stayed 8/20/24-8/21/24 for a seminar at the OSU campus. The location of the hotel is very convenient and I felt very safe in the hotel and area around the hotel. The rooms are decent and the beds are comfortable. The biggest problem I had was while getting breakfast the morning I was checking out (we paid for breakfast when we booked the room). The breakfast was what you would expect from a hotel. Eggs, potatoes, sausage, oatmeal, cereal, breads, fruit, yogurt, coffee and various fruit juices. I asked the attendants if I could just get a plate or if I needed to sit down and order (it's set up like a resturant). The female attendant was a little rude and just said it was a buffet style and It cost $15 to eat. I let her know I had it included in my stay and she said I would need to use my "ticket" which we were not given when we checked in. The male attendant let me know I could go to the front counter to get it, which I did. I went to my room to get my colleague so we could eat together before we checked out. We come back after about 5 minutes and handed ticket to the male attendant and the female attendant let's us know where the plates are. We get some food (with the female attendant watching us closely the entire time) and go to sit down. After about 30 seconds of me sitting down, the female attendant comes over with a bill and sticks it on the table. I thought maybe it was some kind or receipt and look at it a couple minutes later. It's a bill for $30 dollars, I stare at it for a moment before the male attendant runs over to take it away. The female is just staring the entire interaction. Did not apologize for her miscommunication at all. The male attendant was fabulous and welcoming, the female was very rude and did not make us feel welcome. I understand miscommunication, but she didn't even ask us before putting the bill down. I personally told her I had it included with my room and I would be back with this ticket. It's not like there were tons of people eating, there and she was overwhelmed. There was maybe 3 or 4 other tables of 2 or less...

My buddy and I checked in and we are both Gold members. The hotel did not acknowledge the status and every Hilton I have ever stayed at welcomes and thanks their members for seeking out their hotels and for our business. The BEDS IN THIS HOTEL ARE HORRIBLE! I have stayed at the local Holiday Inn and the new Courtyard and they were more comfortable. The walls in this hotel are super thin as mentioned by other patron's reviews. I kept my conversations low so as not be overheard by my neighbors. After being here a week and one day, someone from the hotel called me and my travel companion while we were at work and told us they could not charge to our credit cards and that it was being declined. Well, our cc companies verified that the hotel had not made a charge that had been declined. I called back and the hotel said, "Oh, well, we don't know what happened but if we need anything else, we will call back." Fishing scam? I believe this place is poorly managed. I am ending my stay early and reserving another hotel for comfort and financial security reasons. Finally, someone called before I left to ask why I was leaving early. After I explained there was no apology, no effort to make the stay any better or at least the offer to change rooms. I am returning for a two week stay next month and do not plan on staying. Hilton has always been my "go-to" hotel but this hotel hasn't been the best. Too bad for me and them. They did get one extra star for great room service and good and well...
