Rose Garden — Attraction in Corvallis

A magical place where a hundreds of roses dwell! I visited the rose garden in Corvallis, Oregon in early August. Everything was in full bloom! You can't just pass through this place! It captured me for an hour or two, and I even brought back my daughter for more pictures!

I was also enamored by the giant evergreens! They are as wide as a room and seemed taller than 4 story buildings. They have stood the test of time! If only they could speak! I'll cone back here...

My visit was in late September. Several roses were in bloom, but I'm sure it is really beautiful earlier in the year when they're in full bloom. Hope to go back sometime to see that. I had no idea we're so many varieties of roses. We also walked on the sidewalk around the general area. There were picnic tables and a small playground within...

I remember the rose garden growing up being so gorgeous and full of flowers. I haven't seen it look as vibrant or well taken care of in a while. We've found some hidden treasures people have left (quilted hearts and such) along the flowers which is sweet but it's a ghost of what it once was. I wish it would get more love and TLC...
