I was stuck in town without a place so I stayed in a few motels in the area. I came back to Paradise because it's both affordable and nice. First off, if things like a cracked tile or chipped moldings are going to bother you, you won't like this or any of these budget places. For me, having lived in an RV for 5 months this year, Paradise is just that! It's set in a cute little square courtyard with the rooms surrounding a tiny parking area. You can barely fit your car in but it works, and even if you're accross the lot you're only 30yds away from your door. The rooms seem as clean as anywhere, and I really appreciate the amenities; free wifi, a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and TV. The room I'm in currently has a safe and a cute little suite with a couch and coffee table. Even the TP is soft and descent! The soap sucks so be sure to open the packets before you get in the shower as that will be a frustrating experience when your hands are wet! There's even an ironing board and iron. I can't imagine staying in a fancy hotel when I can park right outside my door here. Maids have been great and they made the bed with my duvet that I happen to have with me. Normally I'm used to carpet though I recognize a solid floor helps with cleaniness. But they have a couple throw rugs that work. One room I stayed in was a neat rustic tile and the current on is a laminate. But it's not as 'sterile' and has much more character than all of budget places I've stayed. I don't know if they have a laundry service or other amenities. I just feel very at home here. With the fridge I went to Trader Joes and stocked up on some salads and produce which has help me keep the dining budget and...
Read moreWorst hotel ever. The worst place I have ever been to in all hotels. Hostels have more service than this dump. Should call it a motel instead. Cigarette holes in the bed sheets. I lost reception on my cell immediately entering the room which forces you to use their wifi which is slower than a 56k modem. The shower pole that holds the shower curtain fell and broke on me. You couldn't adjust the A/C /heater because of preset device and wouldn't blow cold air. The safe wasn't functional and telling me low battery. The bathroom faucet had more water power than the showerhead that barely is adjustable which is really makes it difficult to set a steady warm temp which results to being really hot or cold water. The receptionist/office personnel is never there on 2 occasions I stopped by which were reasonable business hours. Parking is compact cars only. The window curtains dont fully block the view so people can see in. The window screen is bent/morphed so bugs come in throughout the night and I need it open it to vent the nasty smell of smoke/ and dust. The furniture is beat up and old. My remote control for the tv didn't work. No ice machine which means drinking water. Loud guest in the complex that has no noise control. No basic toiletry except shampoo and lotion. No military, police, fire, government discount. If I could give this place 0 stars...
Read moreI’m so mad about my stay I decided to post a review on google after my yelp review. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. We stayed here for about an hour until we realized the room was too gross to sleep in. I made the mistake of not looking at yelp reviews and only google reviews before booking. Once I got here I realized over 3 people said there were bed bugs. I look under the covers and there were hairs under the sheets which means they obviously do not clean the sheets regularly. When I ask for a refund the man at the front desk was so rude and said I can't get a refund for both the days because I stayed in there for an hour. I cannot stress this enough. Do not stay here under any circumstances. Staff is so rude and unreasonable and they shouldn't even be in business. Probably because they scam the people staying here. The door was broken (someone could break in) and is in a bad neighborhood so I did not feel safe staying here at all. If you decide to stay here after this long review all I can say is I warned you. You're better off sleeping...
