Villa Brasil Motel — Hotel in Culver City

A clean, family run motel facing the courtyard-parking lot, (which is free to motel customers) The courtyard is adorned with happy painting, bright colors, the rooms named after birds. There are old tropical trees and plants, some of which (passion fruit) are used in the cafe. There are lots of flowers, apples in the room, even a little candy. There used to be dinnerware but I notice the plates have only plastic forks now. But there is a table for dinner as well as a real bathtub in most units. A microwave and frig, heater and air conditioner. It's old fashioned - as any self respecting motel ought to be. One of the last of a kind. The beds/pillows are a bit hard, my only room complaint. But the quilts are very homey, nothing corporate about this place. I believe the rooms is cleaned, the sheets are changed only by request. Best of all - Dogs are allowed! You can eat at the Cafe Brazil which is open from late morning to nine pm or so. They usually have socor on the tv, and Brazilian music plays most of the time. It's a very pleasant place to eat. The fried banannas are perfect, the beans and rice are good. The meat - like chicken or beef -could probably be better. They also serve an acai bowl and Brazilian delicacies.It is a gorgeously decorated cafe with Fresh passion fruit mouse, amazing, and a home made apple tart. (En Español abajo)||First and foremost, this place is not a Hotel or a Motel, but a typical Latin American Bed & Breakfast Cottage. It's a home more than anything. It has everything you need. Satelite TV with all movies & sports you want to watch, plus all the Latino TV programing you want to watch, and of course Brazilian TV programing GLOBO, which you happen to stay here during the time Carnival is passing in Brazil, it can be a real treat. ||The HUsband & Wife team Mr. Dom Marcelo & Dona Fatima, do a really great job in making you feel welcome to their place & they do their all and give their all to make sure you apreciate what they have to offer -- which is the rich & warm Brazilian culture that you see, feel & even taste when staying here. ||It's a fully functioning residencial phone with free local calls, wi-fi internet, beautiful closets, beaitufl decorations & paintings, comfortable beds, and a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and all the coffe & tea & Apples, Tomatoes & Oranges you want, plus a few candies. The bathrooms or very stylish & comfortble. Maid service is everyday unless you deny it. ||Considering what it includes, and the price for small room (which can fit up to 3 people) and the big room (which can fit up to 5 people) will be the same -- I believe, don't quote me -- It's a FANTASTICA VALUE FOR THE MONEY AND I would not want to stay anywhere else in all of Los Angeles. Not even Beverly Hills or Santa Monica or anywhere else. ||They do have weekly rate, and in the low season you can stay here for up to a month -- But you have to let them know in advance, if you let them know in advance they can work with you. Because they truly are great & hard working people. But in the high season, you can still stay here weekly & get the weekly rate but the maximum amount of time you can stay here is 3 weeks. High Season: March to Septmeber. Low Season: October to February (with the excption of the last week of december & first week of Janaury.). ||Mas que nada....antes de decir cualquier cosa sobre este lugar de alojamiento, quiero decir que este es MAS QUE UN HOTE, MAS QUE UN MOTEL, este lugar es un lugar verdaderamente cómo una posada latino-americana familiar donde una persona se siente en casa o en un hogar en vez de un hotel. Tiene todo lo que un latino necesita. Cuartos bien bien bellos & diseñados, camas muy cómodas, teléfono con llamadas locales gratis, internet inalámbrica, TV por Satélite con toda la programación de la TV Latino, TV en inglés deportes y películas que uno quiere ver y además canal brasileño de GLOBO -- que si a caso usted hospede aquí durante el tiempo que carnavales están pasando en brasil, puede ser un regalo adicional que nos pone bueno. ||El conjunto de Marido y Mujer, Don Marcelo y Doña Fátima hacen su todo para realizar su sueño Americano con riqueza que una cosa que saben muy bien, su cultura caliente y lleno de corazón brasileño. Usted aquí se sentirá que está en Brasil con todo lo que este lugar ofrece. Usted puede ver, sentir y saborear la cultura brasileña aquí. ||Todos los cuarto tiene un Kichenette (una cocineta o una cocina pequeña) con fregaderos, micro-ondas, neveras, una maquina que hace café o té y todo el café y té y manzanos, tomates y naranjas que uno quiere al gusto. Los baños son fantásticos y funcionan bien. Armarios bellos, escritorios y pinturas artísticas que nos poner sentir en la casa. Tienen servicios de limpieza todos los días. ||Tomando en cuenta todo lo que incluye, es UNA VALOR fantástico PARA SU DINERO O PRESUPUESTO DE ALOJAMIENTO. Yo personalmente no quiere quedarme en ningún otro lado en Los Angeles excepto aquí.||Tienen tarifas diarias, semanales y en la temporada baja, mensuales, en la temporada baja lo máximo que un huésped puede quedarse aquí es un mes, PERO HAY QUE AVISARLES A DON MARCELO Y Doña FATIMA ANTES DE VENIR para que ellos pueden facilitar las cosas y planificarlos bien. En la temporada alta lo máximo que un huésped puede quedarse aquí son 3 semanas. Temporada Alta: Marzo a Septiembre, Temporada Baja: Octubre a Febrero (excepto el semana final de diciembre y la primera semana en enero.) ||Bueno no hay nada más en decir, si ustedes son latinos y van a pasar un tiempo aquí en Los Angeles para pasear, vengan aquí para no tener un choque cultural tan fuerte.
