BridgePoint Inn Daly City — Hotel in Daly City

Went with my mother for a couple of days and had no option than to stay here. Everything was fully booked. The rooms were ok and clean, poor breakfast but the worse for me was the atritude of the gebtleman than received us. Our flight arrived early, son went srmtraight to the hotel and kindly asked if we could leave our bags as check in was at 3pm|| They were 2 small bags and he just said NO, I CAN'T TAKE CARE OF THEM. A LOT OF PEOPLE COME. He and his wife live in an apt inside the lobby! Seriously? We had to carry our stuff all day until night when we came back. Payed for one more night and asked for a lighter as I wanted to have a cigarette. He said NO, i dont have. Next day our return flight was until midnight but needed to change it as of course we wouldnt be able to leave our bags there. And what do I see? Mr. NO having a smoke turning it on with his own lighter! I was super pissed off. That is not the way how u treat customers even they are always full as SFO is always busy. I’ve never before in my life have gone to such a bad hotel. Once we got there, the carpet was messed up and not at all cleaned. There was no toilet paper, and when we asked for rolls it never came so we called down again and they said we had to go down there to get it. A sticky glop that had molded over on my bed. The towels had red stains on it (please clean your towels. Jeez!). Breakfast? Don’t even want to talk about it. We got a none smoking hotel room and it sure did smell like it. The pillows were the worse and so THIN! The bed was so obvious that someone has slept in it. The fridge smelled as if something had rotted in it. I don’t write reviews but since this hotel was so bad, I need to let people know!! We also got a room for my grandparents, there was a hole in the covers. Other than that.. well there was no other than that. If I could give a zero, I would. I would have preferred them to spend there money on good service and actually clean up the room rather spend it on...

The website gives a false impression of what you really get. The manager makes underlying racist remarks. This is a 50.00 dollar a night hotel at most and I paid triple. Priceline sucked as the booking rep. The one star is being kind. The breakfast is apples, trail bar, store bought danish, Luke warm coffee and Luke warm water for green team or swiss miss cocoa. Website didn't give disclosure that you need a card w/an EMV chip to pay/stay. I was charged already, so the manager said, I was "lucky" or else I'd have to find somewhere else to stay. You have to ask for an Iron at the front desk. Manager told me that if I take it home he'll charge me 50.00 for it. Nice! Now I am a potential theif? His assistant apologized for him and asked me not to complain about him? Never use Priceline because they don't do quality checks of the places they list.
