The employees here show a total lack of coordination, that could lead to an accident. As I drive into the building, the first guy at the entrance says "Go all the way to the end". The next guy (only half way down) says "park here". Then there's a guy right next to him that points me to the very NEXT spot, like they aren't sure which bay they want me to park in! They obviously aren't communicating with each other at all. Problem is, in order to back into that spot, (the 3rd one I was directed to), it would have caused an accident with the skip loader, who was cleaning up the adjacent spot, and had to back out to leave. Thats right where I would have to pull forward, in order to back into the 3rd spot I was directed to. The 2nd spot I was directed to actually would have been safer, keeping some space between my vehicle and the skip loader. Putting me right next to the loader made no sense at all, especially since it was in motion. Anyway, seeing that these employees were sadly uncoordinated, I just stopped my truck, until the skip loader was out of the way. I had to take responsibility for my own safety, and not depend on the Keystone Cops for effective direction. This is a total breakdown in safe procedures, with three different employees directing me to three different spots. An accident is very likely to occur here, with such poor coordination between these workers.
Also, when I was first pulling into the building, the 1st guy at the entrance motions me to move forward, but he is actually standing in the way of the entrance, so there's no room to pull up. He just got done backing another customer out, who was at the wrong building, and had lots of trouble backing up. After dealing with that situation, this employee at the entrance is flustered, agitated. He's lost his composure and bearing, and doesn't realize he's now standing fully in the way of vehicle traffic. He should be standing to the side, at least enough for a vehicle to get by him. He's looking down at some paperwork in his hands, and evidently doesn't realize he's actually standing too far over, in the center of the entrance, blocking my advance. He motions a second time for me to advance, still not realizing he's blocking the entrance. When he finally looks up, he moves out of the way to my left, but only slightly! I pull up, still squeezed a bit too far to the right, and he says something rude, but to the effect of "Are you done holding up the line?" Rude, unnecessary, and just flat out wrong. Why does a customer have to take this?
The circus of employees here may be low paid, high-turnover, low-skilled, BUT, its not enough to just say "it is what it is"- Management must train these employees to communicate better, spot potentially dangerous situations better, not give out conflicting directions, and never look down when waving vehicles through the entrance. And not be rude to the customer, especially when it's your own fault! This circus of Keystone Cops is going to produce an accident sooner or later here. All the necessary ingredients are in place to facilitate this. Just a...
Read moreWhat retards!!! I drive up to the drop off point for hazardous waste disposal and I proceed to give the douche my address this waste came from not knowing he wouldn't take it because my address doesn't match my ID. I didn't have time to change my address yet and then I asked if I could use the address on my ID (an SF address) and he wouldn't let me. What sucks is I've been in contact with them through email and NEVER ONCE did he say anything about ID must match address!!! So I had to inconvenience my boyfriend and make him leave work so he can come down to the dump to show them his ID since I have the car loaded up. What a waste of time. It wasn't like I was trying to be shady or anything. I just wanted to dispose of household chemicals and...
