Geneva Motel — Hotel in Daly City

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. The host swiped me and my friend's card multiple times, saying it got declined. Made us pay $20 more for nothing when other people told us they had the same room, bed, bathroom for only $100.

We wanted a refund and chose not to stay because of that and because the room was very dirty. The bathroom lights needed to be flicked on and off back and forth in order for it to work. The window was broken and wouldn't shut. So unsafe!

We talked to the man in the office and he said he will refund. He never did and it's been a week now. He took my ID to write down my ID information including bank card info. I had to file a claim. He swiped my friend's card more than 3 times, said it declined when it did go through in total 5 times. Will never ever trust this...

Terrible experience in this hotel. At first I was attended by a very friendly lady, but then the manager came out screaming while I moved my things, accusing me of wanting to get more people in (something totally false!). Later, when I went to ask for batteries for the remote control - because it didn't work - I rang the bell and the manager came out again shouting in my face not to touch it. Unbelievable lack of respect and education.

In addition, the room smelled of mold, the lights did not work well and everything was neglected. Honestly, it has been one of the worst experiences I have had in a hotel. I do not recommend this place under any...
