Well I checked in and went out for dinner. When I called to see if they had any vacancies and get their rates, I was told $50.00 and a $5.00 key deposit for a smoking room with a KING sized bed. I had a $100.00 rewards card from AT&T and used it to pay for the room. I was asked for the $5.00 key deposit in cash and I didn't object because it seemed easier than trying to get the deposit credited back to the card. When the transaction was completed the desk clerk gave me a receipt for $51.00. I assumed it was just the "COST OF DOING BUSINESS". SO, remember I said I went to dinner after checking in? When I was in school $100.oo minus $51. Equaled $49.00. So when the waitress at Applebees handed me my guest check for $41.94 I told her that the card had $49.00 on it and she should keep the change. A few minutes later before I walked out. She returned to inform me the card had been DENIED!!!! So, I had it run again (Because I had already had issues with the service, but that is another story). Sure enough, the card wouldn't go through so I paid for it with my debit card and left. After returning to the motel I called the customer service for the card and was informed that it had a $61.00 charge on it NOT $51.00. Well???? When I asked the desk clerk about the $61.00 charge she coincidentally had my registration card and recite on the desk showing $51.00 and would hear nothing about the additional $10.00. I'm not going to go broke paying $10.00 more than I was told nor even having to pick up a check at a restaurant. But you MUST SEE the connection for the bedside light. Check the...
Read moreI stayed here several times when i lived in danville and never had any problems. I also just recently stayed 3 nights there when i visited Danville last week. Its a little run down but the room i got was still nice and clean. Everything worked including the AC which was a much needed relief from the extreme heat outside. The location is near shopping centers and in walking distance from a Mexican restaurant. The rooms are very quiet too. Also the lady working at the front desk the last time i stayed there was very kind and patient and went the extra mile to help me when i lost my ID. Thankfully i found it though. Overall good experience though and if and when i ever come back to Danville then i will probably be staying at this motel again. I...
Read moreI’ve stayed in hotels, hostels and motels all over the world. This was one of the worst ones ever. The non smoking room had smoke coming through the walls, bed spread was worn out, carpet and curtains were dirty, sheets seemed clean but had cigarette holes. I was warned hot water was warm, it was ice cold. A day later my clothes still...
