La Potosina Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Danville

Came in when there was only a few other customers already seated hostess seated my group of 4 and about 5 minutes later the waitress finally came to get our drink orders and her opening statement was "I'm sorry they had to come find me." Took 10 minutes to get our drinks, which the manager had to help her with. Finally got menus and placed our orders. Ordered for my enchiladas to come with cheese sauce. Windedicated up sitting with empty drinks and empty chips for another 10 minutes then dinner rush showed up. Table of 4 behind u got the food 10 minutes before we did and when our food finally showed up two orders of fajitas came out cold, my order of enchiladas and a taco came out cold to the point that the cheese had already hardened up, and our other order was missing the tamale. We picked at our plates for another 15 minutes before our server came bsck to check with us and we let her know about the missing tamale another 10 minutes and she brought out another cold one with red sauce. Caught as she was walking by and let her know it was wrong so she took it back then brought it back out in a to go container with shredded cheese on top of the same red sauce covered tamale. 15 minutes later finally got our ticket. I got taquitos and they are completely inedible. The tortillas are somehow all shredded and literally dripping with grease. The chicken and beef in the taquitos are both burnt on the ends and extremely greasy. They didn't put guacamole on them, like advertised. Incredibly disappointing. First and last time eating here. I was visiting Illinois and my friend took me here cause she’s always saying their food is really good. Unfortunately this was not the best food or service. The quesadilla looked like a small taco, we waited 25 minutes for our drinks and an additional 40 minutes for our food. And on top of all that there were ants crawling on the table.
