Courtyard by Marriott Detroit Dearborn — Hotel in Dearborn

Spent the 4th of July week here at the Courtyard Marriott in Dearborn, Michigan. First time in this hotel. Appreciated the free parking outside of the hotel (there is parking on the side of the hotel and parking in the back of the hotel.||||This hotel is not far (only 3 miles) from the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village therefore on the evening of July 4th was seeing fireworks from time to time that I believe were coming from the Salute of America event at the Henry Ford Museum.||||However there are luxury apartment buildings across from the hotel, therefore on that 4th of July evening I witnessed from my hotel window some shooting off firecrackers!||||The Courtyard Marriott is also only a few miles from the Fairlane Town Center, as well as there is a strip mall that is within walking distance (that has a Burlington as well as a Best Buy store). ||||Courtyard Marriott is also not far from M-39 (Southfield Freeway) that one can take to get to downtown Detroit relatively quickly. ||||The room was pretty comfortable. One observation: per what I have read housekeeping will clean the room every other week however my room was clean about three consecutive days, then not cleaned the rest of the week I stayed in the room.||||The hotel does have a bar area. However I'm not sure if it was because of the 4th of July holiday that I hardly saw the bar area opened. ||||Also made use of the fitness center for my workouts. Did not utilize the pool because it was mostly being used by kids. ||||The hotel also has a laundry area, however on my first day I tried to access the area with my hotel key but my hotel key was not working. No didn't ask at the front desk to address this issue because I ended up not using the laundry facilities since I was only at the hotel one week.||||The Courtyard Marriott is located in primarily the 'business center' of the Ford Motor Company. Across the street was a large office center that belongs to Ford as well as I drove down Mercury Drive I saw other office buildings that belongs to the Ford Motor Company.||||Overall I did enjoy my stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Dearborn Michigan and I do recommend this hotel if you want to be near shopping at the Fairlane Town Center, enjoying learning at the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, or make the short trip to...

I would first like to say that this hotel has been one of the best stays I have had in the USA and I was here for more than 2 months. The rooms are plush, they overlook greenery and the staff are soooo kind. I cannot recommend this place enough I really encourage everyone to go here and book a stay with this hotel. Plus there is a nice pool that is well taken care of and the courtyard itself is a bliss to look at.

I would like to name everyone here , sorry for the misspelt names if any. Miss Maria the GM is the kindest sweetest and such a hard working woman.

At the front desk: Miss Olivia is so kind and I have seen her handle multiple cases with ease, all whilst looking soo pretty. She has been so attentive to my needs and whenever I needed invoices, or had issues with payments or needed someone to talk to , she was always there with a smile and she works non-stop. Eva is not only graceful but so very kind. I can never forget her taking care of me and making sure I am okay when I had fever. Mr. Marshall is one of the sweetest people in the hotel, and he has such a pleasant smile. Not only is he a man of faith, but he is sooo accommodating and kind and such a beautiful soul. He always made sure I was well taken care of. Jacky is an absolute angel and she is soo quick with solving problems. Whenever I saw her, she always shared so much laughter and joy with me. She was constantly making sure people were happy and that everyone was taken care of. Angelique has been soo kind to me. She works both at the bar and the front desk and always treated me so well. Miss Toni is at the front desk at night and she has the most pleasant demeanor. She is not only attentive and kind but also always ready to help whenever I needed anything. Hayley is soo sweet and so kind. She has also always been there to help me whenever I wanted a hand.

At the bar: Martel and Chantelle are two of the hardest working people at the bar. They always helped me with a smile and they never hesitated to accommodate my requests.

At the room cleaning: Giving a shoutout to all the Tia's who cleaned my room. You all are so nice. I never saw anything amiss from my room and the bed was perfectly made everytime I came back tired from work. Shoutout to Miss A who overlooked...
