The sushi, salad and soup there are the worst Japanese food I ever tried. The manager refused to redo or took the price of our bill for their bad sushi roll when one side of the rice was all dried out. As his answer, because we already eat some but not tell them at the first bite and no customer complaint before, therefore their food is tasty. Wooooow...! Excellent assumption for get rid of their responsibility! Yes, we were there to eat, so we have to eat what we order. But the taste is not even worth half of the value we paid at all. Sushi rolls are 20% smaller, the shrimp is really WELLY cooked and practice out teeth. Elderly, please never try their shrimp, hard can choke people if you didn’t chew well. We really regret how we could bear and finished the squad mushroom broccoli with onion water soup. And the manager said he personally don’t eat Japanese food, so he don’t know the taste, but their chef worked there for 20 years so the food is tasty. FUNNY! I doubt a non-Asian young chef could cook in the restaurant for 20 years... since his elementary school? We’ve ate in different restaurants for 20 years too!!!! We can’t tell, customers are fool?! This restaurant has the good location but just can’t keep customers with this type of management failure. Overall, there’s no Japanese chef or staffs there. If let me rank 100 of the restaurants in Michigan, this one rank the LAST. There’s even no second worst can beat them to win this honor. If the restaurant really could get such high rate (4.1) than authentic Japanese restaurants or any restaurant have Japanese trained Sushi chef, the restaurant must have changed its ownership and chef already. If 100 of my friend ask me, I will say 100 times don’t waste your money there even for one time. My madness rise up after finish eat there. Really a good lie!!! American young chef cooked in their restaurant for 20 years and no one complained but the manager turns to be not a fan for Japanese food. It must because he tried...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, TIME OR ENERGY. By far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. They have extremely rude wait staff, and minors working in the front greeting customers with horrible attitudes. The minors, no more than 14 years old, placed my carry out over the phone apparently incorrectly and charged me for something I didn’t order. They left out half the meal in my take out order. When I called back to hopefully fix the mistake, the young girls answered the phone and started getting loud and blaming the situation on me for their own wrong doing. They continued to argue back and forth with me for 15 minutes as I repeatedly asked to speak to a manager. They hung up the phone on me and I called back. I was finally transferred to the manager and it only got WORSE. Instead of apologizing for leaving out the meals that I PAID FOR, she demeaningly said “ok so you’re arguing about a couple spring rolls fine come get them.” I could not believe what I was hearing. I was in complete shock by the utter disrespect and lack of consideration. When I arrived to the restaurant to pick up the rest of my order (2 orders of spring rolls and 2 California rolls WHICH I PAID FOR), the young girls at the front continued to argue with me. The manager did not even offer apologies and threw the bag over the counter like I was some kind of animal. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. Let’s not forget the fact that they were not wearing masks as they hovered over my order. Please do not waste your money and go to a place where they appreciate you and your service!!!! I WISH I COULD GIVE 0 STARS TO...
Read moreMistakenly ordered hibachi salmon with rice and chicken( no vegetables and no egg) , the correct order my partner wanted hibachi salmon with chicken fried rice (no egg and no vegetables). Informed the waitress before she put food on table about mistake and sent it back to have chicken fried rice instead. 20 mins later, the manager comes and tells us they can't fix the entree and we have to eat the food because it was already ordered. (all they had to do was mix the already existing chicken and rice and add butter and soy sauce honestly). Manager tells us we would have to order the correct meal seperately and still charge us for mistaken meal we never even touched. My partner declined the meal since we don't know where it's been for last 20 mins, and she wanted the meal just taken off the bill altogether. Manager declined saying it wasn't possible because " it was already ordered so we can't take it off the bill and since it wasn't our mistake, we don't have to fix the order". So they couldn't fix there order or take it off the bill for food we never received or ate. Upon declining to pay for a ghost meal, manager called the cops on us. Cop came and understood it was absurd to pay for food we never received due to a basic mistake. Manager was still stuck on not accommodating the situation, so we paid for our meal including the ghost meal and left to not escalate a possible arrest over this experience. I like dining out and never ran into an issue as absurd as this over something...
