My colleague and I had half of our lunch (we had to take the entrée to go) at the Olive Garden on Ford Rd in Dearborn Michigan today (06/18/2018) at 1:30 PM. We weren’t greeted kindly and had to wait 15 minutes for a table. Not a big deal but fair to note especially since they were not busy. Approaching the table we realized that the place was very warm (it’s a 93 degree day, it was at least 80 degrees inside the restaurant). Our server had sweat running down his face. Both rolls of silverware provided contained dirty utensils. The table behind us was vacant and full of dirty dishes when we arrived and remained that way after we left. As more people left, their tables were left with dirty dishes. The entrees took about 40 minutes from time of ordering. The food came to our table piping hot and the server used a dirty paper napkin to transfer it from his tray to the table. We were told the breadsticks were in the oven and the entree's were held up because no fettuccine alfredo was ready which both of our orders required. We boxed our piping hot food, paid and left as our lunch hour had ended. By the way, that alfredo sauce, it was partially cooked. We will not be returning. Nasty.

4 years ago I gave this place one star, I wish I could take that one star and eat that because it would probably be better than the food that I was served. As soon as my husband and I walked in we were greeted by two women at the door and another woman coming from the bar telling them that they better seat us in her area because she's not getting any money. So we got put on the bar side with everybody coming in and out for drinks and carryout , not where I wanted to sit but the waitress needed tips. The food was disgusting . You can tell it was microwaved it did not take fresh we constantly had to keep asking for things that she forgot. I do understand Olive Garden is not fine dining , but I left hungrier than I came and $80 less than I had before. I absolutely will never come back to this location Olive Garden ever again. I will never recommend anybody to go to this Olive Garden location at all ever. Lesson learned!

ZERO stars! Not only did we get TERRIBLE service, his portion size was so small he ended up eating half of mine, which left me hungry! The waiter never once asked if we wanted refills. Never once asked how our food was or if we needed anything. I felt absolutely treated poorly because of my RACE, i kid you not. Even my other half, who is Asian, came to the same conclusion. We were served breadsticks that had bites taken out of them!!! The tomatoes were unbelievably green in our salad... They tried segregating us at a table away from the entire restaurant. When I spoke up, they moved us to a half booth, though full booths were clearly available. The waiter repeatedly slammed our plates, drinks, food on the table.... I had to report to cooperate. No doubt we were treated differently because of our races, as we watched the people around us get treated COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

We were One of two tables in bar area. Our waitress was more focused on her table of friends. Our Waitress talked to her friends and family for 15 minutes at the very next table, before ever coming over to introduce herself or ask us our order. After getting our order she walked directly back to the same table of friends and continued talking to friends for another 10 minutes before she put the order actually in. While this is going on we waited for a espresso that she never put the order in for. The manager had to be called over and he fixed the espresso. We requested lemons with our water, our waitress Qamar brought water never brought the lemons. My cousin had to go get the lemons from bartender and bring them back to our table. Because our waitress never checked on our table. Once the salad came out, our waitress (Qamar) was informed we were given dirty plates, she took the two plates and did not go to the kitchen and come back with clean plates but instead went back to the table next to us where her friends were; where she talked for another 10 minutes before she walked the plates for our salad to the kitchen to bring the new plates. When she returned she just dropped two plates on the table and went back over to the next table to continue talking. She didn’t ask were we ok? Or was anything else needed? We called a manager over to leave while she continued to talk to her friends. As we spoke to the manager (to which his only resolve was to offer us seating in another section). So as we sought to resolve the issue of service, the waitress Family and friends left. When our waitress, Qamar, saw that we were leaving and not ordering anything and canceling our appetizer order then she became concerned. It had been roughly 45 minutes later and now she decided to find out why unfulfilled and unfed customers in her section at her table were leaving. Mind you, she only had two tables in her section! I have no intentions on ever patronizing this restaurant at this location ever again. And I advise anybody else not to. The service we received was awful. We arrived at 640pm and left at 740pm without ever being served our food.

Mind you, it was not a pack night! We actually came on a weekday! Our waitress never apologized. Her attitude the entire time was " I’ll get to you when I get to you" as I continue doing what I want to do- ie ignoring paying customers waiting to be served. Yeah...

Update went back to give another try: server seemed distant and detached. Not sure what was going on with her. We ordered food and she just stared at us awkwardly. Couldn't tell if she was on something or was angry. Table next to us had unlimited pasta bowl and had to ask 3 times to get a refill. She brought out the wrong food to us. We was asked if we'd like refills on our drinks, she only brought my husband one, I guess my empty glass dont exist. My food was warm and cold in some places. I know they have a window warmer so not sure how the food was only warm, husbands was hot but he got lasagna and it was flat! I know this isn't her fault, but all around bad service. Table next to us also had to ask for check 3 times before she told them they could pay on kiosk, which for some reason theirs wasn't working so they couldn't. Discussing with the table next to us we found out both me and the other lady were servers and agreed the server was the worst we had ever seen or experienced and we both have sympathy and understanding for most things server related. We both were baffled by the server.

Place was packed , as always on sunday, so we ate at the bar. The bartender had only 2 other customers. Took her about half hour to acknowledge us. Then we ordered dipping sauce gor bread sticks we didnt get that till we got our actual food. We ordered more breadsticks so they were hot with the sauce by the time we got the second order of breadsticks the sauce was cold so we never ate the sauce. We weren't checked on at all. We had to grab her attention for everything, though she didnt seem busy, especially compared to the actual servers in the house. Took about 45 minutes after we were done eating to get togo boxes and the check. She just wasn't attentive. The food we got to eat warm was great. The hostess was nice and they seemed to be serving tables quickly considering how busy they were, thats why I still gave them 3 stars. Seemed like our experience was...

I will not be back to this location any time soon. I don’t know how the health dept hasn’t come in and shut them down. This place is digusting. I should have left when I saw a couple of gnats in the lobby but since I realize sometimes there can be a couple of gnats near the bar due to the fruit and drinks made there, I tried to attribute it to that. When I was first sat, immediately began battling multiple gnats and the table and ledge nearby was so dusty it was unsanitary. I was then taken to the back area where the tables’ seating is 1/2 chairs 1/2 cushion. Well the corner of cushioned area near the window had left over food and cobwebs all over the wall. Now when I waited tables both at Red Lobster and Olive Garden over 20 yrs ago, it was part of the waiter/waitresses’ closing duties to wipe down not just tables, but the light fixtures, crevices, ledges etc. You can tell they have not dusted in at years. My daughter and I had to fight several large gnats the entire meal to the point where I needed to ask for to go boxes once my entree came so I cousin protect my food from the swarm of gnats. I can only hope the kitchen is not as nasty as the dining area but I wouldn’t be surprised me for that reason I will not spend my money here any longer. I asked for the manager and pointed out everything, and told her the restaurant needed a deep clean and exterminator too perhaps. Her response was “we’re working on it”. Really? Are you kidding me? This is disgusting and her response was as if she knows but does not care. The waitress however was a sweetheart and felt bad but my dining experience was beyond ruined & I did not feel comfortable eating the food once I returned home as I was still itching from the encounter with such filth and those gnats that kept landing everywhere. My goal was not to have my meal comped by the way but even that gesture was ridiculous…..out of nearly a $60 bill, my $13 app...
