I have been to quite a few different Burlington's in the area and entire Metro Detroit area to be exact. This particular store in Dearborn on Ford road is by far the worst of all Burlington I have ever meant. I gave it a one-star rating because I'm not allowed or don't have the ability to give it one lower. The management at night time is completely different and far less accommodating or deserving of a management position considering their utter lack of demeanor in any sort of positive way. The store is an absolute pig sign which absolutely speaks to management and their inability to leave their team. They are absolutely rude and yes I'm still speaking of management. They are not helpful they're only concern is getting out of the store not making the store as much money as possible which should be their goal especially in a management position. And after my last experience there I will be contacting corporate to let them know how I feel about this. I am a reward member I shop at the store in Allen Park on the hill today I spent over $248 there very quickly then team was helpful The manager was very pleasant with a smile on her face happy to help. The store was neat and clean as much as it can be considering nothing's perfect anyway to go. On the other hand the Dearborn store was anything but. I cannot say enough how absolutely rude and just terrible for service is offered by the manager. Her only concern was getting out of the store and she didn't care how rude she had to be to make that point with the cross. I understand we all have jobs and we all want to get out at the same time but at the same time it's my money and people like me that keep her having a job So without the likes of me and other store patrons there would be no store for her to have a job at therefore respect should be given from the rep. Out of every rating I have given so far as a Google contributor this has to be the absolute worst. And again if there was a rating lower than a star this would get it. Absolutely terrible. I will say the young lady at the counter who did take care of me and make sure that all my items were what I have liked and went over them show me a pair of the shoes that I had were actually dirty and asked the manager if there was a discount for them. she flat out lied and said they don't give discounts for dirty items which is false I have been shoving at Burlington for over 20 years and they absolutely give out discounts for dirty items. As does every other store I've ever shopped at If I brought you a white shirt and there was a black mark on it and I showed them at Marshalls they would discount the shirt. And I mean p e r i o d t. I can't say enough how absolutely and utterly disgusted I am at the store and I will never go back thankfully there is one closer The only reason I even went to this junkie place was because they're open later than the one closer to my house. I do not like to get ratings like this based off of a personal experience but I don't think I can give a more accurate one without my personal experience being a part of it. With that set I hope anybody that reads this finds a better place to go they do have many competitors I will not cross that boundary and say any specific names. But they have competitors they are near and they are worth the drive to stay with them this particular Burlington. Not all of them thank you and I hope everyone that read this gets the best information to make this and makes the best decision they can when choosing where to go next time have a wonderful blessed day and an even better life be...
Read moreLOYALTY member who purchased an item from a store whos dressing room was closed (like half of them in the state are all day long and all of them are after 9pm) with rewards meaning i could not try an item on without getting indecent in public. So I return two days later with the item to be told no matter whether I exchange or return the item I cannot apply the full value spent towards my new item. When I asked how is that possible when you can't try items on in store no one had an answer for me.
The employee then radio'd for a manager for the second time. No one came until the employee physically left her register to get the then manager on site who was no help. She had the smart comment our dressing rooms are open right now. Then I had to inform her, but half of the other locations isn't like the one on the receipt or they are roped off and the employee added that they are also closed at night so they could prepare for closing the "acting" manager said well im not even the store manager so it won't let me and im not sure it would let them but you can come back again tomorrow. Come back for a third time, for a maybe? That's how you guys treat your loyalty members? I guess I'll have to strip down to my under wear in the aisles in the future to make sure something...
Read moreIt's crazy that I was actually considering employment here for the holiday season, not that I need to work right now I just wanted to help out the community while extra money but the store was looking for different availabilities. However knowing that I am fully qualified for any entry level position within this company I was completely embarrassed and shocked when I was not even given the chance to introduce myself or say a word after sitting down before being told by the interviewer, "frankly, we will not be hiring you" the reason given was due to my availability not meeting the stores current needs. Mind you they already called me back for an interview so doesn't that mean they looked at my availability🤣
The interviewer was very unprofessional, rude and I'm my option probably racist. I don't think I missed out on anything with this company. Thank you for not hiring me. Everyone looked miserable there, no thank you. And the funniest part of all this is that they still have nobody working as cashiers. Super long lines in a filthy that's an entire episode of Hoarders on its own. Fire Marshals came in there they would close it for sure with all the fire hazards and blocked pathways. Maybe that's why they didn't want me to work for them...
