This would be a nicer place if it wasn't for the lack of organization and overly crowded areas near the entrances, token machines, ticket munchers and front counter. It's hard trying to make your way in and even harder trying to make your way out. Not to mention, the amount of unsupervised kids that are misbehaving and don't wait their turn to play the games, so they'll try to cut in on other children, while they're playing a game. There's also a lot of rude people who try cutting in front of others, and some of the workers just standing around not doing their jobs. There was also multiple games that would take your play points and not even work properly or wouldn't work at all. My kids love Chuck E Cheese's, but it can become very chaotic and interfere with them enjoying themselves, especially when there's a lot of kids that will come up and try to play the games that my kids are already playing instead of waiting their turn. It's also overpriced on their birthday reservations because you have to pay for 4 children, even if you're not having that many children come. Then you have to pay separately for the cake and food, it's not included in the party packages. So you're paying about $76 just for the reservation, plus $10 for a small cake, $16 for a large pizza and around $17 for a party platter of food, which ends up becoming damn near $120-$150 or more just for a birthday party. You're better off to not make a party reservation and just buy some play points for the kids, it's a lot more cost effective. I think the cake and food should be included with the initial reservation, it shouldn't have to be bought separately as an add on, considering it's a birthday reservation and cake is a part of having a birthday celebration. It's fun but it could definitely use some...
Read moreFirst I would like to say I love Chuck E Cheese but this one in Dearborn MI was awful. I go to the rest room and seen that it had so much tissue on the floor and on the sink but also smelled like urine. I go ask the guy at the door if he could ask his manager (Tearessa I believe) if she could get someone to come clean the bathroom. He then says wait you can ask her and pointed to another lady (which I do not know her name). I go and asked her the exact same thing and she said there she go (pointing to her manager) I asked if she could because she works here, she said you can go ask her which I was confused because I just asked if she could because she worked there. She then walked over to her manager and asked her which the manager then said oh well she will get to it when she can the one cleaning person she was referring to was cleaning but was cleaning the floor as it was filthy as well. I go back to the bathroom an hour later and the only thing that was done was the tissue up on the floor urine was still on the floor and still smelled like it. I truly believe as a manager myself that was not the appropriate tone or answer to give someone that is paying there money for their kids to play and eat. Having a safe and sanitized place for kids should be every managers job but not for Tearessa I felt she could of handle my concerns a little different. I will never return to this or another Chuck E. Cheese if you get treated this way after spending...
Read moreSo my experience happened about a week ago on a Saturday Nov.13th. When I tell you I will not ever attend this location again I will not. Of course at this time during the pandemic everywhere short staffed, but when I say I will never go to this location again I mean it. First thing entering the building it's no hostess to stamp you or your children hands. You just walk through & find wherever your supposed to be going. Second problem was the cleanliness...fountain machine had no lids, drinks & cups spilled all over & then straws just in plastic bag for ppl to reach in & grab individual straws (that are not individually wrapped). Chicken came out cold as well.. The young man that came out to refill lids after several ppl asked for lids & telling them about the spills came out with the lids with his gloves on. We are standing there & he started to clean up & throw trash away. I asked for some lids & he let me grab some out of bag. Another lady asked to get her own before he reached in due to him picking up trash first & then wanting to give the lids out. The last issue was several of the game machines were down, but still taking your time or points off. The manager was one of the two cashier's working that day & all he could say was they were short staffed smh. No empathy whatsoever. Never again...go to another location & see if you have a better experience. No option to give...
