Old Montana Inn — Hotel in Deer Lodge

Beware! Stayed here last night, the TV didn't work, internet was spotty at best and even though it's advertised as having microwaves, my room did not have a microwave. I had brought a breakfast bowl and my own coffee and had to throw it away because they are removing the microwaves from the rooms, according to my call with Robin tonight. I won't be staying here again. I used to think it was the best place in town but down the road they serve breakfast and the rooms are less expensive. Robin informed me that they are not giving any types of refunds, so for your $117 you get a bed with hard pillows that looks nice until you settle in with no television, no internet, no microwave. Shady hotel, run by shady people. Do yourself a favor and go down the road. (Look at the responses to their Wifi - Theyve been "working to make it better" for years! Be prepared to twiddle your thumbs if you're expecting a relaxing night of TV.

Western down the road has Spectrum and good wifi so being rural is no excuse. Also, you ignored calls and letters from Montana Department of Justice Consumer Protection Office regard this, and that speaks volumes to the kind of dishonest business you're running. I was happy to see two cars in your parking lot and their parking lot was full.

And that moisture, people? Pay attention to the outside of the building....

We were coming up from Utah, through Montana heading to Idaho hauling a large load with a lowboy truck. I figured we would be running out of drive time around 7pm, and according to the maps that conveniently put us in Deer Lodge, MT. Searching for amenities and a place to stay right off the interstate where we didn't have to turn around a 76' load, I found The Old Montana Inn on Google. Around 1pm I called the front desk and asked if they had availability and a spot to park our over sized load. The lady we spoke to was so nice and said she had rooms available and explained the parking situation. I didn't pay for a room or even ask her to reserve us one. I just said we would be coming through around 7pm. I didn't want to reserve it in case something happened and we didn't make it that far. Around 5:30 I decided to get online and book the room but it appeared that I had waited to long! There were no rooms available. So I called. The nice lady said, not to worry! I have the front of the building saved for you to park and a room ready for you since you called earlier today. Amazing! We were so pleased with the room. Comfortable, clean and cozy. Across the street was a bar with great food and a grocery store next door. We had everything we needed right there. We will be back on our next...

This is a good spot 👍 The rooms are all brand new inside with very nice & comfy mattresses , new AC , Fridge etc. and a nice desk to sit & work. A microwave would be a nice addtion to the room . The Staff is all super friendly. I stayed at another spot in town and l prefer this property by a longshot - good beds make a HUGE difference. The only hiccup here was the internet was angry and I had a hard time getting Roku TV to cooperate. Maybe they can work the kinks out there w some new routers or somn. The TV is all bad news anyway , so nbd . I would stay here again anytime 👍 ps. If you leave these hard working folks a bad review or complain about some petty nonsense , then you can go back to whatever dumpster fire in CA you came from and tell all your dbag friends there that everyone in MT is mean and that everyone in CA should all never ever...
