The pictures advertised on the site are nice with a porch overlooking the river. We did not have a room like that. It is not a bed & breakfast and we were made aware of that. Do not expect breakfast. There are small packaged muffins (2) packs in the room and 2 Nature Valley granola bars for breakfast.

We paid $200.00 (including tax) for a suite that had a musty smell, no view, we were up and down all through the night adjusting the self- controlled heaters in the rooms (the heater in the front room died completely - maybe propane or something ran out .... we could not figure that one out). This was in March and the temperature was 21° at night outside so it would have been convenient to have working heaters. If we did not pay this much for the room, we may have understood why it was so inconvenient ($50.00 or $75.00 per night would have been appropriate).

We did have a coffee maker in the room with coffee grounds in a tupperware container supplied by the Dillsboro Inn. I'm sure everyone that stays in that room uses this same plastic container. There are not convenient locations close by for breakfast. You could walk or drive to find a restaurant.

We did spend (1) one night at this place and we could hardly wait for morning to arrive so that we could leave. We feel sick that we chose this place to relax because we were stressed instead.

The Tucksegee River was the only highlight of the stay. We walked to it from the room and sat near the river to enjoy.

We will not return and put ourselves through an experience like that. Too bad .... we had really looked forward to visiting...

We stayed in the Nantatuck apartment. There were 3 adults consisting of mom, dad and son. We used the king bed which sets in the main living area of the apartment. Our son slept in the queen bedroom. There is one shared bath which was clean, stocked with plenty of towels, blow dryer, travel soap and tissue. The mini kitchen had a small oven with cooktop, medium under counter fridge, microwave and minimum dinnerware. TV in the main room and bedroom. Out the two sets of sliding doors you have a beautiful view of the Tuskasegee River. We saw people floating, paddle boarding and especially fishing. *If you decide to fish, you will need a NC fishing liscense. Outside the sliding door is a patio table, futon and couple of chairs. Ashville is less than an hour away if you want to visit the Biltmore. Overall, it is a bed and breakfast without the breakfast. It was clean, quiet and beds slept comfortably. We would definitely recommend. It is not a hotel in any form. It was perfect!||Within walking distance is Dillsboro, which is the stop of one if the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. There are shops andrestaurants but be advised some are only open with the train schedule during certain times of the year. We did elect to drive because it was quiet warm...

Very nice location right on the River. An eclectic gathering of rooms almost treehouse like. I think there are only about 8 rooms. The building tucked in amongst trees and amazing landscaping. Decks and walks overlooking and along the river allow you to take your morning or afternoon swim, or just while away the hours watching the white water rush by. The firepit out front keeps mosquitos at bay in the evening as you sit and listen to the whitewater and sip your wine. Very peaceful and quiet. TJ's dogs and kitty are very friendly and will be friendly to your pet as well. The INN is easily accessible and close to Dillsboro. in fact a short 1/2 mile nature walk through the adjacent city park takes you to the downtown Dillsboro and many restaurants. Sylva is only a 5 minute drive further down the road to even more wonderful restaurants and local shopping. One comment. If staying more than one night, service your own room to replenish supplies and towels. And the "continental breakfast" provided is merely microwave oatmeal/grits, Otis Spunkmeyer muffin and coffee in your room. So the Breakfast part of B & B is loosely defined. But the rooms are very neat, uniquely decorated from TJ's varied travels and...

Have just returned home after a 3 night stay completely stress free and relaxed. It is hard to come up with the right words to describe this wonderful Inn. The rooms/ suites are furnished with beautiful handmade items. Beds and sofas are so comfortable you just want to take it all in. The setting of the Inn on the river gives you the most relaxing view of nature at its finest. Each room/suite is different. No cookie cutter or duplicates. So unique and interesting. B&B's are known for their hosts! How comfortable and at home they make you feel. TJ and Terri are unbeatable in making you feel that you have always known them, family. The breakfast provided is a light continental with coffee in your room. Microwave, refrigerator, and dishes are funished. We enjoyed having lunch and picnic meals on our patio beside the river and the falls. The serenity of the river and the sound of the river will continue to bring us back time after time. My husband and myself have truly found our home away from home on many occasions.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to find affordable places for our family of six to stay so we were thrilled to find Dillsboro Inn had one two-room suite still available. We were only planning to spend one night in Dillsboro, but the two-night minimum requirement for stays was to our benefit because it was so lovely! We were greeted warmly upon arrival, and surprised on our second night with a gift of delicious homemade gingerbread muffins. We especially enjoyed the nightly fire pit and complimentary marshmallows (we’re sorry our children finished them off!), and being able to sit riverside with our morning coffee is truly unbeatable. For anyone looking for an incredibly comfortable bed, and extremely gracious hosts, this is the place.

Found this gem while looking for a place to getaway for Christmas, just me and the dogs. The owners were so kind and welcoming. Dillsboro Inn is perfect if you're looking for a no frills, cozy atmosphere. The best part was sitting around the group campfire each night conversing with strangers from all over who became friends for the weekend. This was one of my last trips with both of my dogs before they passed, it was important for me to find a places they were welcome and this was it. The view overlooking the river is a beautiful place to sit and read. If you're lucky the owners will bring out sweet treats while everyone is out enjoying the campfire.
