I've added the photos, they are separate from this review. I have been staying here on and off for the past three or four weeks at days at a time. So let's start with safety and staff..not everyone wears a mask(although there's a sign that clearly states for your safety they require masks from everyone above age 12). So, therefore, I keep mine on. Staff-Excellent! José is the general manager, and sometimes he seems very strict or like he's not very attentive to your needs, but I think it could be just me. The front desk and housekeeping staff that I have encountered have been pleasant, they interact with guests very well. Pet friendly-I am not a big pet fan, but I don't mind them. But a big thing I've noticed here is the pet lovers and owners who are here..There are 2 big fields in the back of the hotel that I notice all the owners take their dogs. But besides that, I notice the staff interact with their pets as well. I think for pet owners, that's a plus! Gym and pool has been closed of course, so I can't rate it. So, why the 3 stars? My first room here, an eye on the stove didn't work and the tile in the tub had peeled off a lot. So, I didn't feel comfortable bathing. My second room had an obnoxious drip which I am proud to say was resolved by the time I returned. But this last visit is the kicker! Was in my room asleep at 2am. Somehow, the front desk attendant gave people a key to my door and I found myself being faced with a very intoxicated woman and her male companion trying to get in my room!! I woke up yelling to the person's at my door until they went away. When I got to my door and opened it, he said they had the wrong room. But, how did you get my door open was my concern. Front desk attendant said it showed my room was "available. " But I had used my key at 7pm. It made no sense. José said that that information given was not correct and that the guy was new. But come to find out, a lot of "drama " occurred that night!! Glad I couldn't hear the rest. But, overall, this is where I stay. I have absolutely no major complaints about this hotel. Had it not been for the incident and small room inconveniences, they would definitely have gotten a five. Very comfortable bed, nice rooms(some desk chairs could use replacing). A lot of room. Thanks you all!

This hotel needs to be rated star, management changed and housekeeping revamped. Where do I begin, when we checked in I got a good whiff of cigarette smoke and when I mentioned it I was told it was probably the person who grilling outside. After checking in, my family and I were informed the elevator was broken and we had to walk up the stairs. This was very nerve wracking because we have 4 children, 2 of which are under the age of 3 and several bags. My husband and oldest son had to make several trips taking bags up to our room before we could finally all go up and call it a night after driving 10 hours. Before we even got to the room I noticed a key card entry was not functioning because it was hangin out of the brick wall. Once in our room, the first things I did was pull back the sheets and check the bed. The bed sheets seemed clean until I turned over one of the pillows and the was a smear of something on it. I tossed that pillow on the floor and got my little ones ready for bed. In the morning when it was time to bathe we dicovered the bathroom had black mold and mildew around the tub and that the tub hadn't even been washed. I drove to Walmart and brought my own slew of cleaning supplies. I ended up cleaning ghe bathroom, kicthen, and counter tops. Later on I spoke to a housekeeper, a short older women with glasses, about the condition of the room and even asked if I could get some new sheets because now I wasn't 100% that the changed the sheets she said the clean the room every 7 days and I would only get new sheets if I'd been here 7 days. We went to get ice from the ice machine and there was mildew in the damn ice machine. Nobody cares in this place and you can tell. I emailed the corporate office about my stay and I haven't gotten any response. Update: It is 5:44am after putting $4 in the one of two dryer machines they have, we have come to find out that the dryer is broken and are unable to dry our clothes because the front desk has no quarters which stated that if needed they had quarters. They gentlemen at the desk was nice enough to refund me for the inconvenience.

So I hate leaving bad reviews but I feel that anyone considering staying here should be warned. From the outside it looks like a decent place however the moment you enter the front door you are met with the smell of cigarette smell! It smells like a cocktail lounge from the 80s I should have known then to turn around and run. So we check in and are given our room we get to the room and the room once again smells like cigarette smoke. The door to the bedroom looked like someone had kicked it in. Walk into the bedroom to be met with a missing smoke detector hmmm I wonder why. Some type of fluid dried on the head board, a disgusting bathroom bathtub with black stains everywhere wet toilet paper stuck to the ceiling of the bathroom and the bathroom door broken to boot. The curtains had blood stains on the back of them and the floors were sticky as if all of this was not bad enough the roach infestation was pretty bad. We reported this to the front desk they said we can change your room tomorrow but not tonight and they would make a note. Well tomorrow came and we went to the front desk expecting the room change and they said they could not do it. We were stuck! We asked for a room cleaning and they said we do that when people check out but acted like it was a courtesy to us to do it, upon arrival back it still smelled, the tub was still black and paper was still stuck to the ceiling and the roaches where out as well. Shame on whoever runs this extended stay your house keeping and customer service are below par at best. The photos on your website are not up to date. Also the location is not very secure the back door was held open all night by a rock. Suspicious individuals hanging out I their car all night in the parking lot. STAY AWAY from this place. Cobb webs, filthy conditions In the hall ways. Walls missing replaced with tarp. Filthy kitchens, run downed stained furniture, and disgusting showers is not the way the hospitality business should be ran. Neither is lying to your customers.

Blood on the mattress and covered by a padding. Every Sunday i suppose to get cleaning service and no one comes. Had big kids going to get ice several times a day due to my anemia. I fell asleep and let the cup of ice melt to find big pieces of mold in the cup. When i notice the cup i went and looked at the ice machine and spoke to the assistant manager. She act like she didn't believe me so i told her to put some in a bucket and let it melt. A sign was put up for a couple hrs and taking down. People was still using the machine and it still was nasty and full of mold. It had poisoned my system and caused my heart and lungs to be under attack. I had to be hospitalized. When i came back to the hotel i spoke to the manager 2 days later once i was able to regain a little more strength to walk up front to the desk without having an asthma attack. The manager showed no care in the world. He had no sympathy or no apology for what had happen. I couldn't even get eye contact or his attention. When i left the front desk i felt so disappointed. I felt i had wasted my time and energy. There was a situation where a guest pointed his gun in my 9yr old daughter face and the front desk clerk said he couldn't make them leave or do anything. It took the manager 2 days to come talk to me about the situation and he promised he would get back with me about the situation and of course he didnt. Of course no apology for that situation. I have had to change rooms 4 times due to issues in the rooms. Air condition went out in one room caused me to wake up having an asthma attack. Had to switch rooms with my 4 kids in the middle of the night to a room that runs water from the tub none stop. Tile falling off the bathroom walls. Put in another room that the bathroom door is falling apart. Door knob is barely hanging on. Maintance man came and took the knob and didn't come back to fix the door the the water running from the tub faucets. I had to take our bed covers and washed them myself cause we haven't had any housekeeping service but once since we been here. Room dusty, shower curtain full of mold and mildew so i brought some spray to spray it down to eat that away. Hardly any access to the kitchen accessories. Worst situation of them all is been lied on by management. I had spoken to the assistant management about how do you get a better rate if you need to stay 30 days or so. She gave me a number to call. I called and set up reservation. The reservation they gave me was set a day to soon from the day i needed it so they had me to call back and set it for that Thursday since my payday falls on Thursday. My current reservation at that time ended that Wednesday so i had to cover Wednesday and start my 30 day reservation on Thursday. When Thursday came i paid for my room but the price i was giving was more than what i was told over the phone so i called the number back and ask them to email me my reservation. The guy on the phone asked me did i have 2 rooms. I told him no just one. He said i had 2 reservations. I told him i didn't understand how when i only spoke to someone about a 30 day reservation. He told me to call the front desk cause it wouldn't let him cancel the 7 day reservation. I called to the front and the manager told me to come up front he can fix it. When i got up there he stated to me that we was going to fight cause i didn't tell him i had a 30 day reservation. I told him i told you i was suppose to pay a certain amount for my 30 day stay when he gave me this outrageous quote. He said well we have a problem cause i refunded you your money and i need 300 dollars to start my 30 day reservation. He told me that my money will hit my account in 3 to 5 days. I left the front desk and called corporate to see if they could do something where i could get the money back to pay for my room. The guy i spoke to call the manager and the assistant manager told him i knew i had 2 reservations and i set them up. Once again no help or...

This extended stay needs demolishing. The rooms "were supposed " to be cleared for check in on 11/1/2023, however it took 2 hours and 45 minutes to get settled in a room. I did not know that a manager from corporate was onsite, when this disaster occurred. Let's start with the overwhelming aroma of cannabis throughout the hotel. I prepaid for for 5 days 4 night stay, in advance and this was not what represented online. This hotel is more like a "motel" that one would typically rent by the hour. The rooms I visited (20)were left uncleaned, garbage in the trash cans under the sink, this type of "lack of care" is not going to assist the hotel's roach infestation problem. The tubs were stained, hair left on the sinks, food left in the refrigerators, crumbs on the floors, nasty toilets which had bowel movements remains change left behind ... no way the toilets were cleaned. Most of the rooms have mold under the kitchen and vanity sinks, which can be smelled from the door. The remote on one room was missing a back and one battery... Most of the rooms were missing a recliner, an or a sofa, and office desks. The refrigerators were old and paint chipped, nasty inside .. the stoves were nasty as well as the drawers and countertops. The kitchens had loads of live and dead roaches throughout the kitchen and vanity drawers. The carpet throughout the hallways looked like they are from 1980's. The elevators were nasty, sticky floors and garbage on the front elevator. The back hall elevator door wouldn't close, so the door kept opening and closing. On the afternoon of November 2, 2023 I was advised they didn't have plastic utensils... I am trying to understand how could that be possible, when there was plastic spoons by the oatmeal earlier... I asked about the cookware and dishes, that were suppose to be available for each guest. I was asked for my room number, which a tall black "manager" wanted to know who put me in that room...???!! He grabbed the iPad and started strolling through my account while still stating,"I need to know who put her in that room. I was off yesterday and no one told me about this"!! I did advise him that a tall white guy from corporate was present, and he is aware. He told me the guy from corporate is his boss. He told the older woman behind the desk to give me the utensils, and he took the iPad in the office and closed the door. The woman came back with a teaspoon, a tablespoon and two butter knives. I asked her where are the forks, and she advised me she didn't have any available. This was disappointing and frustrating to have to revisit the amenities and photos online and see there is NOTHING AS IT SEEMS IN PERSON. The best thing that happened was the manager, Maria ( she was from another Extended Stay location) and Gabrielle (front desk overnight clerk) they went above and beyond and apologized for all of what transpired and the conditions this motel is in. The room corporate placed me in was a suite (semi upgraded) which is meant for out of town corporate management. The room was clean, but needs some repairs and completed upgrades. The room under me an/or surrounding was smoking a large amount of weed, I had to roll my unpacked luggage in the bedroom; to avoid my clothes smelling like weed. This was a stressful and unpleasant experience... I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL TO ANYONE...!!!!! I could not cook for my son and his teammates, during the NCCU HOMECOMING WEEK... I had to dine out at local eateries instead... JUST SHAMEFUL AND NASTY.... The attitude of the "manager", who should be ashamed to beat his chest that he was the manager, and not follow up with his staff for not cleaning or caring at all ... they do less than the bare minimum and he is just fine with that...the fire detector was missing in the bedroom of the...

By far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I’m well aware you get what you pay for but this hotel was beyond disgusting with absolutely rude staff. I go to check in and the clerk gives me a room right next to the outside door on the first floor. I am a very petite woman and I traveled with my 14 month old daughter and my dog. So tell me if you think that’s a safe room for us? Unfortunately I do not like complaining and I try to tough it out. As soon as we get to our room I notice ants on the ac unit and in the shower. The ac didn’t work. The rubber “base boards” were peeling off the wall. The bathroom smelled like smoke. Well... we still try to deal with it because “you get what you pay for”. All night long, that door to the outside slammed. I didn’t get much sleep and neither did my daughter. 6am rolls around and I decide we have had enough. So we go to the front desk and no one is there to be found. There is a woman stocking the coffee and she asks me “what”. Yes just like that. So I replied “I have an issue with my room”. She then rolls her eyes at me... finishes what she is doing, then comes over to talk to me only to tell me to come back at 7:15 because there is no one at the front desk. I then go back at 7:15 and given the biggest attitude because I asked for a new room not next to a door preferably on the second or third floor. So guess where he moved me? Right next to the stairwell(door) on the second floor. Those stairs led to the outside where people were propping it open with a rock so that anyone could get in. The only complaints I have for this room is the dirty sheets and the both room smelled like smoke. Sure doesn’t seem like they enforce their no smoking policy. The sheets clearly had not been changed. So I asked for new sheets which I was given. I then ask for pots and pans which was said to be provided. He spends almost an hour “looking for them” and calls me to tell me he can’t find them. This was the only reason I stayed here was because of the capability to cook. so I end up having to go buy my own pot so I can cook for my daughter. Well this nightmare STILL isn’t over. In the evening, the new manager had threatened that she almost called the cops on me. So I ask her why and she said because I had my dog tied up outside the hotel. I argued with her for a few minutes telling her that she should have called the cops because it wouldn’t have been on me because my dog had been with me all day. It wasn’t me or my dog but she insisted that it was. After another night of nothing but slammed doors, I decide I need to leave and check out a day early. I go to the front desk to ask for a luggage cart and the manager responds so rudely “It’s somewhere”.... ok well I need it. She replies “Go look for it because someone took it upstairs” I stare at her and walk away. As I’m walking away she complains to a man in the lobby about how she hates customers like me. So if you want a similar experience then by all means you should stay here. I did not feel safe, was treated rudely and the place itself was pretty gross. A motel would have been better...
