My review definitely needs to be in two parts: service and hotel itself. I thought the service from the hotel staff was awesome! They were friendly at check-in and out. The room and hotel was pretty clean as well which was nice to see. The service was 4/5 stars for me, however the actual hotel is another story... The second half of my review is directed at the building and doesn't have anything to do with staff. If I could rate the room it would be 1/5 stars. It was a nice place to sleep but other than that there wasn't much else. The TVs in room are low end TVs from Best Buy (Insignia brand) that would occasionally freezing while trying to watch tv. Annoying, but whatever I can deal with it since I didn't spend much time in the room. The bathroom layout was just poor planning. It's so small and cramped with the shower being in the corner. I don't like how the entire bathroom floor is the shower floor and there's not a designated floor mat/towel dedicated for that. It's just annoying to have socks being ruined by a wet floor. The rooms were also on the small side (both the single and especially the double bed room that other people I know where staying in). Also there was no refrigerator in the room which was another let down. Overall it's a 3/5 star rating from me. My suggestion would be plan a better layout when going into your next renovation. You may lose some RevPAR when combining two rooms into one and making rooms bigger, but your guests will be much happier with much needed space in the bathroom and room.

We booked a private dining room for 10 of us to enjoy. It was an absolutely perfect place for us to visit, laugh and tell stories in! We were around the corner from the main dining room and the decor was lovely. Plus, it had 2 pocket doors that were closed and allowed us to enjoy ourselves without disturbing everyone else. I had the quinoa salad and it was excellent. We had ordered the charcuterie board and the cheesy bread board as appetizers and were disappointed in their small size and variety. They were clearly meant to be one person appetizers and not to be shared. My husband had the chicken pasta primavera, and he was disappointed in it. The chicken was bland, no spices on it at all and the pasta sauce was totally unremarkable. Those in the group who ordered the Ceasar salad with salmon were very pleased with that choice. They said the salmon was delicious and cooked perfectly. Our waiter, Joe, was a delight to meet and we asked him about his major, upcoming graduation and job prospects. He was laughing at all the funny things our group was doing and saying. We wish him well in the coming months and years.

I attended this place for an event. The parking was very confusing. In an effort to try to simplify things they made the parking even more confusing when attending events. I was told by staff that, hopefully you don't have a ticket on your car..... I was supposed to scan some QR code that their office did not have a copy of and was unfortunately thrown away. The lack of empathy or care from the staff was very disheartening and a lack of communication between the staff and the event coordinator and having copies of QR codes needed to exit the parking structure should have been more buttoned up. I traveled over an hour to attend this event and so I wasn't expecting this sort of experience or service. The actual establishment is very beautiful. The conference rooms were well maintained and clean. The restaurant is also very well-maintained. The restrooms were very clean and well maintained. Access from the parking garage into the establishment was easy to find. There are a few areas of opportunity to improve their customer service and processes.

I stayed here for a wedding. It was fine, but not good. Convenience to the reception in the ballroom is the saving grace. At check-in, we were not told the wi-fi password or that there was coffee and croissants in the lobby in the morning. Our room was not made up even after we called and requested it. Because of this, we did not have coffee in the room. The main issue is how small/tiny the room was. I booked a standard double, with two double beds. The space between the two beds is two feet. Both of us could not move around the room at the same time. The biggest annoyance was how small the bathroom is and how non-functional it is. No counter space and a vessel sink made it hard to get ready. Added to that as the tightness of the cord on the hairdryer. I had to fight with it to get it to reach up to my head. It took a lot of effort to do that and even then I had to lean against the wall to dry the left side of my head. Finally, it is a wet room, so there is a shower curtain that you pull around and a rain forest shower head in one corner. Water gets everywhere, so you are standing in bath water while drying hair and putting on make-up. It was completely miserable trying to get ready for wedding for two adults in the room and the space. The satellite TV kept freezing or did not have signal, so we never were able to get more than five minutes uninterrupted. Small things, but it is not worth it.

The front desk people were kind and upbeat. That was an upside. But the rest is...

I have been here more times than I can count for meetings and conferences. The Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center has been a great venue for all of them! There are many different sized rooms to accommodate both large and small events. The Big 10 rooms can expand or contract to fit different sized events as well. They can either have the food tables in the same room as you or in a separate room say across the hall if you are in one of the Big 10 rooms and need more space.

They do a great job with the food as well. I have been here for both plated dinners served by staff and buffet dinners and they do a nice job. Staff stays in the background and it all runs smoothly from the guest point of view. They also have good presentation equipment with multiple screens, projectors and good sound. They can change the color of the lighting all around the room, put a stage up and everyone will be able to see. They have bathrooms that are large enough to accommodate quick breaks without lines. A great experience overall.

Parking is easy in the connected ramp as well. If you have an event here, they typically provide parking validation passes to your meeting organizer to distribute.

Years ago I stayed a night in the hotel portion, and that was good too. Rooms were small, but modern and clean. We were able to rent a movie on their TV programming that was different than what was available on streaming services that we subscribe to which...
