Jenison Field House — Local services in East Lansing

For a D1 school I would assume a better set up. The food ventor charges $6 for a shriveled hot dog and the event staff is clueless. You cant hand an athlete food at the entrance it must be brought in through the side door???? Why???

The fees weren't bad for admission and bathrooms are getting dated. No seating was available for people with disabilities, if you wanted to sit you needed to climb the steps.

Attended MSU volleyball match. Season ticket holder for some yrs. MSU volleyball attendance averages abt 3,000. There is plenty of good seating. Most is bench seating without backs. The playing facilities are good. The team and the conference is very high quality every year. Most matches are very competitive; NCAA tournament level play. Two concession stands. Prices are high. The old Field House was home to some of the biggest names in basketball. One of the last was Irving Magic Johnson, to name one of many. The place since that time has received some upgrades when it comes to bathrooms and seating scoreboards and just general features.
