The owner of the restaurant is a fu**ing bastard who lives , I hope in the early 19 th century. My experience had been very bad. My husband was bringing my food and was also returning the tray after I had the food since I was sitting at a corner of the sofa with all my stuffs by my side. The owner promptly came at the end and asked our ethnicity which is asian and citizenship being Indian. Then he started showing his concern about the situation: that husbands should not bring the food for/take the finished plate away from his wife. Women should be treated at a much lower stature than men. Men are always higher up as he thinks himself to be. He described his wife serving the food always for him after going back from the shop.He started giving us the definition of so called "MAN" who should always be rowdy with a high pitched voice to dominate women.
Sometimes we tell that India is a background country and der are gender differences. But I am seriously curious to know where is this man from, which part of the world? There was not a single regret / repentence in his facial expressions when we told that his definition of being a "MAN" is wrong in this century and both genders should have equal rights. He was stubborn in his views.
Located very near to an esteemed college like "Michigan State University ", I am very sad to say that there is a shop with this kind of owner in its neighborhood. A negative impact on the students if he discusses the same topic with any. Beware Spartans from the store as we dream that Spartans will be bridging us to the future.
As per ambience, very cheap and dirty. No decent people should go dere.
As per food, tastes decent but with lots of artificial crab meats and scallops as I personally ordered the seafood...

The food is amazing and hearty. Prices are not high as some other reviews stated. We got the Udon ramen, Shin ramen, and a California roll. The Udon had the most crab meat that I’ve had from any restaurant and great taste. The Shin didn’t disappoint it had great tastes and heat to it. Both ramens had enough for multiple meals. The California roll was the least expensive we’ve had in a long time. I am not a fan of sushi but my wife and son made sure it didn’t make it to the leftover bowl. They said it was really good and we need to go back. We have gone to quite a few ramen restaurants and this one felt more authentic and wholesome. Yes, it is “comfortable” but that means that you might have to talk to the person next to you or maybe even have an actual conversation. They have games at the tables and I highly recommend if you’ve made it this far to get off your butt and go to...
Read moreThis is the coolest little late night spot I've seen in forever. The pics don't do it justice. The owners cook everything to order and the set up is highly eclectic. Boujee people need not attempt. They have many more flavors of bubble tea than I've seen offered anywhere. The food was really delicious as well. The decor is something that you just have to experience for yourself. As we waited for our fresh made food we admired the thousands of photos on the wall. We said "how do we make it up there?" The owner just grabbed the Polaroid camera, helped us to get a good pose and said "kissing or no?" Of course we went for the kiss. It was an extraordinary experience. I really recommend checking this place out. It stays open late even on weekdays. Kimchi and coleslaw while you wait. Cash...
