The staff stole my clothes! I accidentally left several dress shirts hanging in my closet. After arriving home 10 hours later, I realized my mistake and immediately called the hotel. They told me that housekeeping had gone for the day and said they would call me the next day. After waiting without receiving a phone call, I had to call back again the next day. They told me the lady that cleaned my room was off that day and they would call me the next day when she got back. After waiting another day to receive a phone call from the hotel to no avail, I called again and was given the same story for the third day in a row. They did tell me that my clothes were not in the lost & found where they should be upon accidentally leaving them in the room. I was told that protocol was to leave any clothes found in the rooms in their lost & found. If no one claimed them within 30 days, they would be given to the staff. On the fourth day, still no phone call! I called again late in the day. I was told the day shift staff would have the info on my inquiry, and I would have to call back when they were in as they had left for the day. On the fifth day, the hotel called me to tell me that my clothes were not there. They treated me as if I was lying about the situation. Up until this point, I had been told by several employees that they went to the room and there was nothing there, not my shirts, not my personal hangers they were on - nothing! On this day, they did tell me that the housekeeper finally said to them that my personal clothes hangers were there, but the hangers were empty. That was new news because up until then; they just kept telling me there was absolutely no sign of the shirts. I told them that whoever cleaned that room had to have taken them. They told me that was not likely since the lady that cleaned my room was an older Hispanic woman who spoke little English. Other than being treated as if I was lying about the situation, that was the only response I received. I asked to speak to a general manager. They told me they would have the general manager call me back. As you can imagine, I've heard nothing from them since! My mistake for accidentally leaving my shirts in the room, but I would never have imagined they would have stolen them from me. I couldn't possibly recommend that...
Read moreI Would Like To Start Off By Saying That This Is The Nicest, Cleanest, And I Dare Say The "Best".... Pun Intended Hotel I've Ever Stayed In. That Being Said It Has An Unfortunate Hidden Secret. I Had To Ask Around To Get Her Name, But I Believe Her Name Is Josephine. Everything Was All Fine Until She Came In. I Was Sitting There Enjoying The Best Breakfast I'd Ever Had At A Hotel, And In Walks Josephine. You Talk About Instant Peace Shatter. She Started Ripping The Front Desk Clerk A New One, In Front Of God And Everybody. From What I Can Tell It Was Totally Unprovoked, And I Was Trying Not To Listen, But She Did It So Loud, That It Was Impossible To Not Hear Everything Going On, And I Could No Longer Enjoy My Breakfast. She Called The Front Desk Clerk I Believe Her Name Was Debbie Stupid, Among Many Other Names I Won't Repeat On Here. Debbie Held Her Composure Despite Being Torn To Shreds By This Monster Called Josephine. She Even Had To Walk Out A Few Times, And When She Returned There Was Josephine To Start In Again. Mind You Debbie Is Completely Opposite Of Josephine. She Embodies What A Model Employee Is And Should Be. Despite Being Ripped To Shreds In Front Of Customers, And What Appeared To Be A New Employee, She Held Her Composure, Never Once Engaging Josephine. To Think All Of This Was Because Josephine Didn't Like The Way Debbie Prepared The Breakfast Baffles Me. There Was Absolutely Nothing Wrong With It (Again Best Hotel Breakfast Ever). Employees Like Josephine Give Employees Like Debbie A Bad Name. So To End I Would Like To Say I Would Totally Return To This Hotel Time And Time Again If It Wasn't For The Monster Called Josephine. Untill She's Gone This Hotel Will Never Be The Greatness That It Could Be, Hence The One Star, And That...
Read moreAbsolutely stay away from this place, extremely rude management and ripped me off. I had a reservation for May 24 thru May 27 at Best Western in Emory Texas. On May 23, 24 hours prior to check-in I called the Best Western in Emory to change the reservation date to May 25 thru 27 due to a funeral I had to attend in North Carolina. The initial phone call was answered by the front desk, however the representative didn't know how to change dates and asked to call back 30 minutes later to speak with Manager. Called back 30 minutes later to speak with a manager and she assured me that the reservation was updated with the correct dates, before hanging up I also asked her to add my wife's name to reservation so she could check us in as I wouldn't land until late Saturday from funeral. When my wife checked-in, she was told our check-out date was Sunday which was incorrect but we just assumed an error was made when updating reservation. Sunday morning our room keys no longer work and after multiple conversations with the front desk they correct it, no big deal. On Monday we check out and I notice there is a charge for Friday, spoke with RaeAnn at the front desk and she assured me this was an error but again she didn't know how to correct it and would need to speak with a manager. The manager called me back and said we when spoke on the 23rd, I only added my wife to the room and after much heated discussion called me a liar. Would not refund my money and subsequent emails to Best Western Corporate have gone unanswered. I have asked for a call back from owner and have...
