We purchased a home from an elderly woman who had a new HVAC system (indoor and outdoor units) installed by Air Control in June 2024. During our home inspection in April 2025, it was discovered that the inside unit had a refrigerant line leak and was installed too low to allow proper filter replacement, requiring a $400 adjustment to raise it. The previous homeowner contacted Air Control in May 2025 to address a leak and recharge the refrigerant, per our contract with proof of receipt sent to our realtor that it was serviced.

After moving in June 2025, we noticed the unit was leaking water. We reached out to Air Control just before closing time and were told someone would review the records and return our call the next day. No one followed up, and after a second call with the same response, we ended up resolving that issue ourselves.

Now, in July 2025, the system has developed another leak and once again needs to be recharged. These units are barely a year old and have already required multiple repairs, which is unacceptable for new equipment.
