Sidekick’s Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Emory

We were a party of 4. The waitress was really trying. I ordered a drink. The bartender sent me a shot. I told the waitress i needed a drink not a shot please. She said that's what i told him. He said this is how it made. I said please bring me this in a drink, it is made both ways. She returned to the bar. He said just put some more cranberry in it and add ice. I then went to the bar. "Can you please make me a fresh drink? This is watered down and i can't taste the alcohol." He picked up the bittle of Crown and just started pouring it in my drink. A lot of crown. Then he said what else goes it? Oh ya, Apple Pucker" then started pouring that in my drink. I sad " Stop!" He said, "you ought to be able to taste it now" and walked away. Three of our dinners were served. One of the dinners didnt arrive until we were almost finished with our meal. We had to remind the waitress he still had not received his food. He couldn't eat all of his dinner because the chops weren't done. We gave up and left. Won't be back. Not the first time we had issues. Just the first time...

Been coming here since the opening whenever we are here at the lake house. We have tried the steaks, nachos, burgers, salads and chicken fried chicken. All well above average to great. Service by the waitresses always good and very friendly. Cold beers and liquor is done right. Karaoke night, well it is what it is take your chances. Live bands have been really decent with loads of talent. Good time for the whole family. So after our last visit I had to drop this establishments rating to four stars. They now are without notice or sign adding on credit card transactions fee of 4% after the fact of issuing you the bill. This is normally already worked in to everybody's menu at every restaurant in United states. Now sidekicks is adding it on after you give them your credit card and they return with your copy to sign. Our party of 4 came in Sunday afternoon hoping to get a quick bite to eat. The restaurant was not even a 1/4 full. We ordered very simple items. (Grilled chicken, tacos, and 2 burgers) we also ordered chips and salsa as an appetizer. It took over 20 minutes for us to get the appetizer. We even asked the waitress about it and she said they were still working on it. It took over an hour for our entrees to come. We ate all the chips and didn’t get a refill. We made it pretty clear we were hungry and upset and they did nothing to help. When the food finally arrived half of it was cold. It wasn’t very good either, certainly not worth the wait.
