Overall 3 stars. This hotel is cheap and for the price it really shouldn't be. Hotel service in general is down since covid and I guess they are making up for it by keeping service reduced. Will not stay again at this specific location for most of my trips here.
Front desk at check-in was mediocre. Didn't use them at checkout. I asked via the App if I could delay checkout to 1pm this was rejected but that's just the front desk being lazy because we all know they did not get to my room by 1pm.
I'm platinum elite and got two microsized bottles of water. Marriott is very cheap on this for platinum members, granted this is a benefit they removed. Hilton honors still gets free waters as opposed to at the hotel discretion.
Parking fee? Of course there is plenty of parking so this is just a a screw the customer fee. It's also not really needed at this specific property as it doesn't get you enhanced security or any EV spots. Speaking of which this is a new hotel and you don't have EV parking, whomever decided against that should be fired. I'd even pay for it with a third party charger installs but then again you could include it in the parking fees.
The room was okay as this is a new hotel. Not special for a SpringHill Suites.
Room cleaning was advised by front desk as not going to happen during my stay. This is counter to the App and my reservation. This is another mark as being too cheap. The hotels really are saving a ton by being cheap here. It should be my option or the room rates should come down. As this is saving serious labor rates per night.
The cleaning staff were very nice as I passed them in the hallways. Way more polite than front desk at check in.
Breakfast was good as well. Great staff, very nice. This is one area where service has returned to post covid levels. So this was good. Not better than before covid but the normal level and...
Read moreWe have been going to Vegas for Cheer Competition for years (Jamz at The Orleans). We typically stay at the Townplace off the 15 (which is still a great location near the strip) and took a chance on this brand new build (less than a year old) to get away from the busy-ness of the strip and it was worth it! We were less than 10 min up the road from where we needed to be (same distance/different direction) and also only 10 min from Blue Diamond Rd where there is a Target and lots of food places that don't have the Vegas crowds. The rooms are exactly what you would expect from Marriott (Comfortable/Clean). There was plenty of space to get ready and there was excellent lighting in the bathroom for make-up application. We always love a free breakfast option when we need to run out the door for call time, but the staff made it even better by greeting everyone and cleaning up so promptly it felt like we were the first ones there for breakfast even though it was busy each morning. ||The entire staff was exceptional and always had a smile on their faces and were accommodating and gracious with the few requests that I had. ||This location is listed as "airport" but there really wasn't that much airport noise. We were on the East side of the building and if we listened closely we could hear the planes taking off, but didn't notice them otherwise. Very quite location for an...
Read moreWonderful new hotel! From the start, we were happy be stayed here.||Service: Immediately greeted to smiles and water! Incredible service, friendly, helpful and efficient. Everyone was working hard, always ready to help. Very impressed! Constantly saw staff cleaning and maintaining which I appreciated as a clean freak.||Rooms: This hotel is only a year old- so everything is still brand new, very clean, spacious and thoughtfully designed. Loved the bathroom and couch - both comfortable and spacious. Loved the desk area, plenty of storage. The only weird thing is the location of TV, but not a problem. Beds were comfortable as was the bedding and linens. ||Amenities: Pool and hot tub is small but very clean and didn’t see anyone else use. The workout room is awesome and very clean. The breakfast was honestly good and loved the smiling faces of those cooking and cleaning. Lots of parking, $10 daily.||Location: quiet and right off the highway. We personally loved it because it was away from the noisy strip but close enough to drive very quickly to. Close to lots of restaurants, stores, etc. The location was also very safe. ||Loved and would absolutely stay and...
