This is an excellent Thai restaurant! I have lived in the valley for 3 years and I love Thai food so I make it my business to try out as many places as I can. Praya Thai Dining is my favorite so far. The food was PERFECTLY prepared; the quality of ingredients, and execution of dishes was admirable. I ordered Green Curry with chicken, Pad Prik King with tofu, and Spicy Eggplant with tofu, and asked that the tofu be soft (i.e. steamed, braised, or lightly sauteed) -- the cooking was spot on. The eggplant just the way I like it, and the tofu as well. The chicken was tender and delicious. Each dish was delicious and very flavorful. I asked for medium spicy and that is exactly what I got -- often it comes too spicy. My only suggestion or critique was the rice could have been a tad moister -- moister rice tends to hold up in the fridge better. But the rice was not bad by any stretch. No, I was very pleased by the quality and quantity of the food. The portions were very generous, and the take out was packed most excellently -- each entree was in a reliable plastic container, and great care was taken in how the order was packed for transport. These folks obviously care about their product and their customers. I can't say enough about this wonderful...

Their Red Curry is a culinary masterpiece, seriously the best I've ever had. It's like they've bottled up Thailand and poured it right into the dish. And let's talk about the Street Food Fried Rice and Basil Fried Rice. At first glance, you might think they're twins separated at birth, but one taste and you'll realize they're more like distant cousins – similar looks but wildly different personalities. Both are absolutely phenomenal, though!
Service? Top-notch! The staff made us feel like Thai royalty from the moment we walked in. And the ambiance? It's like stepping into a piece of Thailand right here in Vegas. They even served us free oranges before our meal – talk about refreshing and unexpected, like a cool breeze on a hot Vegas day!
Located off the strip, Praya Thai is like finding a hidden gem in the heart of the desert. It's a must-try spot in Vegas that won’t gamble away your taste buds. Trust me, your palate...
Read moreIt has been 4 years since I was back in Bangkok. So, I was missing some good Thai food. I went to a very nice restaurant called Praya Thai.
I ordered papaya salad and prad krapow moo. First, the papaya salad was extraordinary. The balance of flavors, the spicy, sour and sweet was so well done I thought I was eating central style papaya salad back in Bangkok. The green beans were crisp and the cherry tomatoes and papaya were very fresh. It was refreshing and delicious.
The pad krapow moo or pad krapow with ground pork (moo) was excellent. Again, a great balance of dark and light soy sauce and spicy, which I love. The veggies were fresh and over rice and I had a Kai dow or fried egg on top of the pad krapow. Had Thai tea with it and I was back in Bangkok. I really miss Thailand.
The price is reasonable and service is...
