My vehicle broke down as I was traveling so I needed a place that is pet friendly and affordable for me and my family and 2 dogs. I called the Super 8 and the female told me that there were rooms available and it would be an extra 10 per dog. I headed over there and checked in. My vehicle was getting looked at so I needed an extra day. So the next morning there was a guy working the front desk that was probably from India from the looks of it but I don’t care. I just wanted to point that out just in case someone else might deal with a situation like mine. We asked for an additional day to wait for our vehicle getting fixed and that same guy started complaining about pets in the lobby and someone made the front entrance muddy and thinks a dog pooped in the hallway and blamed it on us even though my wife was always with the dogs when we took them to potty outsid (yes they are potty trained). He said, I have you and other people on video and I can show you. I asked him to show me and all of a sudden he says, I don’t have time to show you because I am very busy. He also accused me of not taking his word and I had a hearing problem and said if I understood English. Dude from India with a heavy accent and he is telling me if I understood English? What a joke! How convenient when asked to show me the video after he mentioned it and didn’t want to any more. It’s true what they say, you get what you pay for. Cheaper is not always better. There were only like 3 vehicles here at the hotel. Ratings suck. When you read it for this location. You better believe it is crap. If I could put zero stars I would. This same guy…we were waiting for almost an hour along with another customer that ended up leaving because he was never helped. This guy kept walking in front of us and not once did he ask if anyone needed help. I had to go to the back room door and ask him for help. When we asked, it seemed like doing his job was a chore. No air con in entire building besides the rooms. Bad attitude and absolutely no customer service skills. The ratings reflect the quality. I honestly think the rating is too...
Read moreOne of the worst places iv been.... My bf and I have been staying in different hotels around forestcity ar for 2 months. Every time I would try to get a room a very food indian man would tell us that we had to come back after 5 because he couldn't rent a room. He told us we had to talk to a women that worked there and she wouldn't be there till 5. Finaly the 4th day trying to get a room due to me working 2-9(by then my bf would already have a room for us) I couldn't get there after 5. After 4 days I tried again. He telling me he could not rent a room for a week for me that I needed to come back later. I asked him about just renting a room for one night and finally he agreed. He asked if I wanted smokeing or non smoking and I told him smokeing. I asked him for a one bed but he insisted that there were none evan though the place was empty. The tv didnt work and the lady he told us to talk to tried to fix it but could not. So she changed our room to a downstairs room. I thanked her. She told me to come pay cash for my week in the morning and we went to bed. The next morning I got ready for work and stoped by the desk and tried to pay for the week. The man didnt know anything about it. And keep saying no. And that we were not supost to be on the bottom floor. I told him the room he gave us the say before had tv problems. And that the lady moved us. He kept telling me I was lieing and treated me like a criminal. Then he walked to our room and checked that we had been there and saw we pushed the beds together so that we could sleep together (two full size beds) I told him we were going to stay the week and that we would move them back before we check out. He kept cussing at me so I finaly said we was leaveing and never comeing back. Then he had the nerve to try to tell me that the upstairs room was a non smoking room and that my bf had smoked there. I asked for the paper saying so and he didnt act like he wanted to hear me. So to anyone wanting to stay here. Go someone else. The rooms are not nice like the pics are. Its dirty, dark and has the most rude staff member...
Read moreI am usually very optimistic with my reviews...and usually see the hard work that goes into maintaining a place. This hotel was less than unimpressive. In fact, although I've stayed in dozens of hotels throughout the country of differing "star-value" and price, this is the first place where I honestly feared I would catch a disease in my room. The main entrance of the hotel is basic, but the side door entrances are disgusting. It seriously looks like there should be active construction going on, although there isn't.
The room I paid for was a King room. There is a refrigerator and microwave, which is nice, but the room is so dirty I almost didn't stay. Thank God I have a sleeping bag, because I would never sleep on that bed with the blankets or comforter that were in place. The room stinks as well. This is coming from a girl who grew up with brothers and now works as a nurse. I'm used to stink. I broke out my mini-febreeze that travels with me.
I'm a frugal person, I like looking for deals. I also was on the road all day and desperately needed a place to sleep, and I needed WIFI for a work assignment. Otherwise, I'd be not staying at this place. Find something else, please. This place needs a major renovation, and some new...
