A very interesting place to stay. It used to be a hospital back in the day. Being in the medical field I found this to be quite interesting, there was also a lot of old wheel chairs and equipment from back in the day. All the rooms are unique from each other and had medical theme. We were in Recovery. The staff are very nice and friendly. They explained important things about our stay. Our stay included a $7 credit per person per night for breakfast at Doc's. We had the breakfast burrito. There is a small gift shop by check-in. If you are a light sleeper, you may need to bring a eye mask and earplugs. There is a stained glass window above the door to your room so the light from the hall gets into the room so it may not be dark enough. Also the fan in the bathroom is super loud and you can hear it from another room. I could also hear someone loudly snoring, and when people were walking up and down the stairs. The room was initially a bit cold, but then got quite warm. You might want to call directly and have them help you pick a room that may be a better fit (like away from the staircase, etc), from my interaction at check-in I feel like they wouldn't mind helping you pick specific room.

I am absolutely thrilled with my experience at this place! The beauty of the location is truly awe-inspiring, and the people there are incredibly kind and hospitable. I unfortunately fell sick to altitude sickness before we arrived, but the owners went above and beyond to provide me with helpful tips to alleviate my symptoms. Their genuine concern and assistance truly exemplify what true hospitality is all about. Throughout my time there, I felt an overwhelming sense of safety and comfort. The entire place exudes a unique atmosphere that can only be described as staying in a museum, but in the most incredible way imaginable! The attention to detail and the overall ambiance make it a truly unforgettable experience. Also as a photographer this place was very exciting! In fact, I am so enamored with this place that I would gladly return to Cripple Creek solely to have the opportunity to stay here again. I cannot recommend it highly enough to others. If you're looking for a remarkable getaway, don't hesitate to book a stay at this extraordinary place. You won't be disappointed!

Stood here in the RV park for 3 nights during Labor day weekend. Overall the park was a very quiet and clean. We have a 36' rig and maneuvering around the park to get into our space was a little tedious. All sites are full hook-ups and a little uneven. When we called the free rides that Cripple Creek offers, the city shuttle operator was very rude so we decided to take the Double Eagle casino shuttle and that worked out great. If you've never been to the town during the summer, there are wild horses and mules that roam around everywhere around town. We thought that was pretty neat. The actual building on the property, which was a hospital many years ago is a very cool experience to take a tour. We asked at the front desk and the worker said that we were welcome to roam free and if there was rooms open we could step in and take a look. We were very impressed with the condition of the building, since it's very very old. I would recommend to take a tour if you are not staying in the hotel. Overall experience was excellent.

We really enjoyed our time here. We stayed with our camper. The staff was SO friendly. We were delayed with vehicle problems, which we told them of earlier in the day and they called to check up on us to see if we needed anything. So nice!

The spots are pretty good but a little tight. Good water pressure, even when the place was full. Our site wasn't terribly level but we managed. We were in the back row and it was pretty tight getting into our spot because of a tree and the neighbors who parked all the way to the back of their spots to maximize parking in front. I can't blame them though - we did the same. We have AT&T and service was next to zero without our booster on. Verizon was pretty strong.

Please read their instructions on how to empty your tanks. Apparently they have some sewer issues if people don't follow the right procedure.

The food truck is great and doesn't have "captive audience" prices. Very reasonable. We ate breakfast there daily and saw some locals come in for breakfast as well. The guys at the food truck are SO friendly and are a great asset to the property!

We will...
