I met a gal, at the ice carving festival, on the street under a canopy. She was nice, & promoting her business. I figured, what the heck maybe I'll check that place out. And I did. Boiler Room Tavern is located inside of the St Nicholas Hotel which used to be the hospital ran by the Sisters of Mercy.The hotel is full of interesting history. The tavern is small and has a cozy ambiance where strangers become friends. The bartender Adam was informative, friendly and made excellent drinks.
