Snowbird is a dream destination for advanced skiers and powder enthusiasts. Its steep terrain and legendary snowfall make it one of the best spots in the Wasatch Range, but here’s a tip: skip the tram. While the tram is iconic, it often comes with long lines and crowded cabins. Instead, head straight to the Peruvian Express or Gadzoom lifts, which offer quick access to incredible runs without the hassle.
One of Snowbird’s underrated perks is its convenient parking and shuttle system. Arriving and getting to the base is a breeze compared to many other resorts, with lots close to the lifts and frequent shuttles that run like clockwork. It’s a detail that makes the day feel seamless, even on a powder frenzy morning.
As for terrain, Little Cloud Bowl is massive and unforgettable. It feels like skiing three of Palisades’ Siberia Bowls combined. The size, variety, and wide-open spaces make it a highlight for anyone who loves big-mountain skiing. Whether you’re carving through fresh tracks or tackling steeps, it’s a true showstopper.
Snowbird’s vibe is all about serious skiing, so if you’re there for terrain and powder, it doesn’t get much better. Just bypass the tram, enjoy the ease of access, and spend your day lapping Little...
Read moreNice ski resort, not very big, but with nice runs and well organized. It is also connected with Alta, which increases the size up to the double. Snowbird ski area is better than Alta one, because it is more "skier-friendly", good for intermediate but It is very interesting also for advanced skiers, with an exciting tunnel to go to another part of the mountain and a large "powder" area. Lifts are a bit essential, but all with footrest (for safety and comfort). It deserves 5* for runs quality and for scenery, it would not deserve for parking (I paid 15$ to avoid a long walk), but unfortunately this is becoming king of regular in many...

They said I could have $60 off on my next purchase but got zero compensation otherwise for the 5 days that I lost due to covid I will not be skiing at this mountain any longer. You basically stole $240 of my money..... Very disappointed! Although there was not any new snow the Black diamond runs were in great shape All things considered and it...
