Came to pagosa on our honeymoon and was told we must try Thai Pagosa. My husband has a few allergies which can generally be summed up as an animal product allergy and can range from headaches and vomiting, to being completely out of comission for a few days, to being deathly ill. My husband directly asked the man at the register if the item we wanted to order contained any animal products or oyster sauce. He said no at the time of ordering. My husband started vomitting and developed a headache about three minutes after consuming some of it, picture of vomit on sidewalk attatched. He called and asked again and the man on the phone confirmed oyster sauce was infact used in the dish; however he was completely unapologetic and basically said since you didnt say you had an allergy despite us lying to you it is not our problem. My husband did not bother arguing with him or requesting they some how make it right as he was too sick at the time to really think. So now he gets to be sick on our honeymoon and our plans for the night are cancelled. Two other things to note, the business pretends to take covid very seriously i.e. they limit the people inside to one group at a time and require masks but they don't wear the masks themselves. It is all security theatre and so if you want truly covid safe food this is not the place. Finally, they charge 5 dollars for four incredibly small cubes of tofu, which is ridiculous. When my husband asked how much tofu was in an order and he said four pieces we assumed that like most restraunts we were talking something a little bigger. This is our fault for not clarifying the size, but to future visitors please know the amount of tofu they give is ridiculous for the cost. In conclussion, would not eat here again. Very bad food poisoning and the employees both lied and showed no interest in making it right.

This place seems to open up whenever they so choose…starting to get skeptical about it. We arrived as 1150 only for the place to still be closed when we originally came Monday at 1130 and saw the handwritten sign saying they would be open 12/20/23 at 1130…. Edit: Food was delicious, I only have 2 complaints about the food….1, I asked for spicy level 3 for my red curry…I believe they must’ve forgotten because it was not spicy at all, not even level 1. 2nd complaint was we asked for plain fried rice with nothing in it. They said they cannot do so because it would be too difficult 🥴🤨. This was a 1st we’ve ever heard this out of the many Thai restaurants we’ve been to across the states. The inside was tight and cozy, nicely decorated and the service was good. I only had to say 1 thing regarding service when we first arrived. All in all, good food, and a bit pricey, after taxes and tip, it came out to $90+ and it doesn’t appear to be $100 meal to us. Also there was a piece of carrot in my water….I didn’t say anything when he originally brought it because I was over it by that point.

ร้านอาหารของคุณหนาวมาก! Your restuaurant is freezing! We stopped here while visiting Pagosa, and the food was delicious! The thai iced tea was probably the best I’ve ever had, had very deep flavor, but it is very sweet so keep that in mind. We got the Pad See Eew with Beef, Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, Drunken Noodles with Shrimp, and Fried Calamari. My drunken noodles were very good (although the strong basil flavor did get a little sickly after a while) but still delicious. Fried rice was amazing! Pineapple was lovely and cooked and loved the cashews. Pad Thai wasn’t my favorite, maybe it’s just not my thing, very strong peanut flavor. Pad See Eew was also delicious. Only thing is the servers were a bit hard to communicate with. They’re very nice but don’t really speak English. The restaurant was absolutely freezing! We asked if they could turn off the fan but they didn’t want to. Overall I definitely recommend, but bring a sweater!

I have never been so shocked by a restaurant’s food to leave a review but Thai Pagosa was so delicious that I had to leave a review. I love Thai food and have been to several Thai restaurants, however, I think this may be the best Thai place I’ve ever had.

I got their Thai fresh rolls, Pad Kee Mao with Beef (with medium-hot spice), green curry with chicken, and Tom Kha with mixed veggies.

The peanut sauce for the rolls was made so well, and the shrimp and veggies in the roll were fresh! The beef in the Pad Kee Mao was a bit tougher than I would’ve liked, but WOW, that medium-hot spice level gave it a fiery kick! The noodles were the perfect thickness and doneness. The green curry was flavorful, and the chicken was tender and infused with the green curry spice. There was eggplant in the curry that was DELICIOUS. It wasn’t super soggy, nor super crunchy. The texture was perfect. The Tom Kha was light and creamy; slightly spicy. I really enjoyed the baby corn and mushrooms in the soup. Such a beautifully made Tom Kha.

Definitely check this place out if you ever visit Pagosa Springs. They are extremely cautious and careful due to COVID which was such a relief to see. Take out only, and only 1 person allowed inside at a time to order or pick up. There were plastic curtains separating customers from the host taking orders. The wait was a bit long because it was such a popular restaurant (1 hour at around an order time of 5:50pm) but it was...

I've been on a quest to find the best green curry in the Western US for the last two years. Pagosa Thai is in the lead (the quest never truly ends) by a landslide! The flavor was amazing. Much more lemongrass forward than any other green curry I've tried, and that was a great improvement. They were generous with the vegetables and tofu, too, which is always a plus. And they were cooked too perfection! Normally one order of a curry dish would be enough for me and my boyfriend to split, and since we were traveling we didn't want to have leftovers. I regretted that decision, because I could have happily eaten an entire order of this by myself. It is that good!

We got takeout, so I can't really speak to the experience of eating in the restaurant itself - but they were fast to get our order ready (20 minutes), even on a Friday night.

My only issue - it is a minor one! - is that they put our curry in a container that didn't seal very well, so it leaked a little bit. Fortunately they had put it in a plastic bag and the mess was well contained, but I was sad to lose any of that delightful flavor! I suggest they switch to the soup style container that have more commonly encountered with...
