2023 REVIEW: I was very impressed with this Red Roof Inn It was very clean. Staff were friendly. We even got a call in early evening asking if we were happy with our room and if we needed anything for the night and to just dial 0 at any time if we did. I did not expect this call but was impressed that they went above my expectations and did this. I will definitely stay here again. I recommend everyone to stay here. It's a great value for the price. Also, your pet always stays free at Red Roof Inns! Please recognize that at this price, you should not expect a huge free breakfast in the morning. If you want the big hot free breakfast you need to stay at the expensive hotels. I feel that I got everything and a little more for the very little I paid for my room, which was about $78.00 total (including taxes and fees) UPDATE 2024 REVIEW: I was disappointed đ Staff was still friendly. But no phone call to our room asking if we were happy with our room. I was hoping to receive this year again because when we entered our room, the fire alarm was tweeting nonstop. We ended up calling the front desk, but nobody answered. We were so tired from driving that we didn't want to have to keep calling or wait for someone to come fix it after. We just wanted to go to bed, so we just unplugged it! I was taken back this year by how dirty our floors were. In the bathroom, next to the filthy toilet, was a cigarette butt. The inside of the toilet was clean. The outside of the toilet and the corners of the floor had dirt and grim built up. It looked like they hadn't been scrubbed in the past year. Also, there was a greenish maybe toothpaste stuff all over the wall above the shelf over the toilet. In the main room, I found a balled up pair of dirty soxs on the floor by the safe. Both the main room and bathroom looked like they were not swept or mopped between guests. When I see things like sweeping and mopping neglected like this, I can't help but wonder if the bedding & sheets I'm about to sleep in have been changed or NOT!!! I really don't like feeling like this when I'm paying to stay. I find it extremely uncomfortable!!! I really hope they do a DEEP cleaning in their rooms soon.
I don't know if I'll stay at this location again or not? But I'll probably try other Redroof Inns before or after this location again first. I will definitely be looking for any updated and recent reviews before I visit this location again....
   Read moreUnjust Extra Charges and Poor Service* Me and my friend stayed at this place on 03/08/2025 and we had an unpleasant experience with the receptionist, who is VJ, Upon checking in, I was charged extra without a valid explanation. The receptionist said the room is smoking room and we told him that we donât smoke and since we donât smoke, we donât care about it, he told us room will be smelling smoke and it might bother us, he said that he wanted to help us and give us another available room, we said okay, and he changed our room and asked for $15, but it was completely untrue and not aligned with what was agreed upon at check-in. We are two young professionals who work at a hotel in Nyc and hotel management has a right to charge to their guests,if the guests would like to stay in smoking room, it should be their choice, they pay for their smoking pleasure comfort, but in our situation, we didnât ask for smoking room or non-smoking room, we checked in 10:30-11 pm and just wanted to get rest couple hours and we left early in the morning. So i am really upset about that extra $15 charge, unreasonable and made us unhappy with this staying.
Next morning, i talked with another receptionist and he confirmed that the other receptionist should not have to charge us, and I kindly asked for refund of my money, morning receptionist said he can not refund me without getting managerâs approval. I tried to resolve the matter, but received no satisfactory response.
This experience has left me disappointed with the lack of professionalism and transparency. I would caution future guests to be vigilant about any additional charges. I hope the management will take this issue seriously and refund me $15 back, and address it to prevent similar...
   Read moreChecking inn the gentleman behind the desk was very nice and sociable . So when we got to our room and noticed the door lock was broken and roaches were in the bathroom we expected to be able to take care of the issues no problem . Unfortunately he wasnât the person who answered the phone . The gentleman who answered the phone told me he would be âhereâ in five mins . He never came so we went to the front desk. When I told him about the roaches again he said yes show me the proof , the pictures , the video . I asked him if he remembered he was the one who said he was coming to the room and never showed. He told me as very busy with customers. Then he said on so what you want , another room .. eye roll yes. He gave us keys to another room and told us it was the last one he had and to go see and he had five mins to go look and it and change our minds to complain and get a refund . After going to the second room .. again yes there were baby roaches in the room . I went to the office again and said hello , no one answered. Another patron walked in an Alex told me to hold on a moment and said yes sir . I ask the gentleman if he was there previously and he said no I just need a new key the door lock is broken. Then I showed him his video he wanted and after some more attitude finally got my refund back processed(not back on my card for one -three business days ) . Would not recommend .. went to the Clarion down the street and the lady said we were the 15th people this week complaining about roaches at that location . Was not too happy that i had to come out my pocket even more for a different hotel whille waiting...
