Cashier Kayla & “Manger” Amber really wore their “ I hate colored people” attitudes tonight. Merry Christmas to you grinches. I was waiting in line for the register right in front of Starbucks. While waiting in line. Kayla was sent over to help out. At the time I was standing at the register right behind the one I was in line for. I was standing exactly in front of the credit card machine. Kayla walks up , completely ignores me & helps the guy standing behind us. Of course a caucasian man. My friend turns to look at me & said “ are you serious “. I said “ don’t even say anything , because they’re expecting you to act out”. Kayla and the man then began to giggle. Very unprofessional , disrespectful & very obvious discrimination if you ask me.
After checking out. I walked over to the three people standing by the entrance door. One security team member , “ Manager “ amber , and a short heavyset lady. None of which greeted us when we walked in. As we are approaching amber made a face like we were the COVID inventors. Just the most disgusting face as if we wanted to get near let alone talk to her to began with. I mean it is a lot going on. I proceeded to ask her if the store manager was in because I wanted to speak with him about kayla. Then said she was one of the manager. I never asked her that question. I asked her if the store manager was in , not her position. Long story short after she told me his name , and we started walking towards the exit. Mr. security felt the need to follow us until we walked out. As if our things weren’t already in bags. We already checked out sir ! Nice try. When I've never had a problem before & either way was going to buy the items. He was a smart a$$ & acted like he was better than his customers. WORD OF ADVICE YOUNG ONE YOU WILL NEVER GET ANYWHERE IN LIFE THINKING YOUR BETTER THAN OTHERS & ARGUING WITH CUSTOMERS. FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN IN RETAIL FOR SEVERAL YEARS WORD OF ADVICE THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!!! The manager came over & let me use my gift card on my 2nd purchase. Other than the kid at the register I've never had any problems at the 17 target every other team member has been helpful & very nice!!! They had excellent customer service!! Watch out for "G" Haha kid knows everything evidently! & dont forget customers you cant use ur target gift card u payed for on spilt purchases as he said "its cheating the system" even though I'm going to buy the items at this target or another!! They told me they were doing a big reset in that area, yet nothing even looks touched clearance markers everywhere. So now I can’t get what I came in for that was suppost to be released July 20th. Here’s an idea, set the mod beforehand! I asked the guy to go to the back and check he came back 1 minute later saying he didn’t find it. The manager just typed a number in and said it was on a pallet somewhere and didn’t wanna check either clearly. They aren’t helpful whatsoever and definitely lazy. It’s not that hard to go through some pallets to make someone happy. I know they were in stock as well as today was the day they dropped and they were on website for pickup.
