Mattress Firm Freehold — Hotel in Freehold Township

My son bought a new house and was in need of a new mattress. Since Christmas is just around the corner, my husband and I decided to buy him one. I googled mattress stores in our area and Mattress Firm West Freehold came up. So off we went. This store was our first stop. We arrived after work Tuesday night and met Nicholas Avino, one of the Sales Associates, who helped to educate us about the different types of mattresses available these days. It’s quite overwhelming. He helped my son narrow down what type of mattress he wanted, that being said, it was late, we were all exhausted, we thanked him for his help and left the store. The following evening I went to two other stores, not associated with Mattress Firm. I shopped around, was helped by other salesmen and came to realize it seemed like each store has the same or similar mattresses to offer. They each have their own Sales and different ways of putting together packages ( we needed a mattress, box spring and bed frame or a mattress and adjustable bed frame) I also researched mattresses and mattress packages on Amazon later that evening. I felt like I took the time to see what was out there and educated myself. After all the time I spent, I remembered Nicholas and the time he spent with us. What impressed me is everything he told us Tuesday night was exactly correct. He didn’t exaggerate or tell us what he thought we wanted to hear. He just told us the facts, he knew our price range, and was confident he could put together something that would fit our needs. I ended up going back to his store Friday and Nick spent more time with me trying to put together a package I could afford. Although I did end up spending a bit more than I had planned, I am very happy with my purchase. I liked the 120 day mattress warranty Mattress Firm has, the delivery includes set up, and they can delivery it on Sunday. After the bed comes and my son sleeps on it, Nick suggests give it 30 days for break in. I will update my review. So far, if I need another mattress, I wouldn’t waste my time anywhere else. Mike, the gentleman in the store that helped me was an excellent guy. 10 years older than me which makes him 80. He looks like a guy that's 20 the way he pops around the store. I swear to God if I if 50 people came into the store and they had my kind of attitude to understand that he has all these kind of customers and trying to help one person after another or says excuse me for a second. He goes and helps somebody else out and then comes back. That's fine with me. You know he's trying to do a job of two men or 10 men at the same time. And it's understandable he's representing the store. He doesn't want anybody to walk out and of course he's trying to sell something for you and for himself which is fine. He has got a great personality when he was writing me up and it was nobody in the store he was. You know stuck to his desk and I'm sure if somebody had walked in he would have walked over and said welcome. What are you looking for and then pointed direction where they needed to go? I don't know of any other wanted 81 years old that has that much knowledge still in their head without it being a little blocked. Not from Alzheimer's es just from getting old like I like I have. I'm 70 so there's not a lot I can say about him. He's just great. And there's nothing I can say about him. That's negative. He he does his job. He does it well. My fiance and I went mattress shopping for the first time meant for our very first apartment together. We had a very strict number in mind when it came to what we'd be willing to spend on a mattress, and what type we were looking for. Andrew at the West Freehold store greeted us from the moment we walked in, asked a few questions about how we slept, what our price range was, and of course the size of the mattress. With just a few questions that couldn't have taken more than a few minutes, he had us trying mattresses and eventually found us one that we loved.

We figured it was going to be impossible to leave since at the end of the day they're there to make a sale. However, we were pleasantly surprised that he gave us the final cost for what it'd be with everything, shipping and all, asked us what number it'd have to be for him to get us to consider buying that day, and let us leave and shop around. Andrew definitely got the price of the mattress down within $10 of what we were looking for, beating out nearby department stores we looked at. No place even came close to the budget and customer service this store had. If you're looking around for a good deal, whatever your price point, this store is the absolute first place you should look.
