Crystal Ballroom — Attraction in Freehold Township

I had my wedding at the Crystal Ballroom on 7/16/2021. Everything was perfect from start to finish!!

I booked my wedding back in 2019 with Heidi. I fell in love with the venue and a few days after my tour, I booked! When COVID came, I was very nervous about how the venue was going to proceed with postponements. They were so accommodating and allowed me to postpone with zero hassle. From the booking, to the postponement, to the menu detailing, Heidi was quick to answer all of my questions and provided guidance and clarity during so much uncertainty.

Prior to the wedding, I dropped off all of my personalized items for the wedding to Sam. She went over every detail with me to ensure that everything was planned as I had wanted. On the day of the wedding, Sam checked in with me multiple times while I was getting ready with my bridal party to assist us with anything we needed. Her eagerness to help was truly appreciated and made me feel at ease while I was nervous about my big day! Her generous and caring attitude made me realize that my event was in good hands and that I had nothing to worry about!

Sam and Eric executed my event and perfectly implemented every detail I asked of them. The Ceremony space was gorgeous and better than I could have ever imagined! Sam made sure my entire bridal party was lined up perfectly for the procession which was such a big help! Immediately after the ceremony, Sam and Eric greeted my fiancé and I with champagne and led us to our reserved table for cocktail hour. They brought us food from each station so that we could spend time greeting our family and friends. My husband missed the round of pizza bagels that were passed so Eric brought him his own tray of them! All of our family and friends raved about how amazing the Cocktail Hour food and service was and I agree! Prior to the reception, they brought my fiancé and I into the ballroom so that we could see it all set up and it was absolutely beautiful. We brought our own personalized Neon Sign and they were able to hang it right over our gift table. It looked beautiful and it was such a great touch!

During the reception, Sam and Eric made sure my fiancé had a drink at all times and they personally served us our meals. The food was delicious. Eric also made a point to bring us over to the dessert stations before it was open to our guests. They both checked in with us throughout the duration of the reception to ensure that we were satisfied with everything. The servers were phenomenal and made sure that all of our guests were taken care of. One server in particular took extra care of my grandmother who was chilly during the ceremony. This server brought a blanket over to my grandmother to accommodate her..I was so thankful!

At the end of the reception, Eric packed up all of our items and delivered them to our suite for us. This was a HUGE help and certainly did not go unnoticed. The entire event was perfect. We even hosted a breakfast in the atrium the following morning and Eric made sure everything was to our satisfaction! What an amazing team! They gave us our DREAM wedding. Elizabeth (catering director) settled our fears when we came to her with concerns of past negative reviews, she asked us to trust her & the team that they promised everything would be perfect, and it was! Sam the general manager, we feel like her & Marvin (maître d) waited on us hand & foot. We never waited for a drink or food. The food was delicious. The bartenders Chris, Darryl, & Anthony TOP NOTCH so kind and attentive. (After party & night before wedding) What I can tell you honestly the communication was on point. Up until the wedding our point of contact went through like 5 different people before landing on Elizabeth with the change in staff. I laid it all out to Elizabeth and she listened and helped make everything perfect. I came to her that I was worried my overnight guests would be turned away or not enough room, she had Tyler work with me to calm my fears and everything was smooth NO ISSUES! I told Sam & Marvin some issues I thought may arise the day of and they made sure any changes day of came to us as a couple first. We checked in the night before and had zero problems, our guests checked in with no problems. Breakfast the morning after was amazing! French toast sticks are bomb. My ceremony & reception was gorgeous we used Radisson’s centerpieces, most décor, backdrop, linens, and pedestals. We supplied signs for tables and card box, but they have if you need I believe. My advice for couples is bring extension cords, lol we felt there was not enough outlets personally, and no usb ports in rooms. STAY OFF SOCIAL MEDIA! If you have a problem or concern, go to Radisson right away lay it out there. I was horrified at first, but my day turned out perfect! Be open & honest with them and they will be honest with you.

Employees: Super sweet, caring, attentive, helpful, courteous & receptive. Food: All of the food for our wedding was delicious no complaints Hotel: Zero issues with check in check out, rooms were clean, no issues.

Communication: no issues, I felt we were responded to in a timely manner

Words cannot describe the venue enough Joe & I are so happy! The feeling we got when we first booked is what we ended our wedding with.

The absolute second my husband and I walked into the Crystal Ballroom we knew that it was where we wanted to spend our wedding day. Everything about the ballroom was absolutely breathtaking, the chandeliers were gorgeous and the location was perfect. Working so closely with Andrea and Tara, I cannot being to explain the amount of friendliness and professionalism these two ladies have. They treat you like family and they are so attentive with responding to emails and phone calls with any questions I had throughout this process. My husband and I picked the Platinum package for our wedding. On the day of the wedding, everyone at the Radisson were so attentive to catering to all of our needs. Andrea and Tara helped me so much with all of my nerves and making sure I have everything I needed for meeting my husband down the aisle. We also had our ceremony at the venue and before I went out they prepped me and made sure I looked absolutely perfect. The cocktail hour was amazing, the food was delicious, all of our guests raved about how wonderful the cocktail hour was, I don't think anyone went home hungry! My husband and I had our own attendant who came by and gave us a sample of everything and also Andrea and Tara made sure we sat down and ate as well! They were absolutely wonderful! We also had the outdoor patio which was also beautiful! The reception was beautiful, the tables were gorgeous and so were the centerpieces that come with the package, I couldn't have asked for anything more, and dinner was delicious! We had the ice cream bar and everyone loved it! We also had a breakfast the next day which was the perfect touch for the guests who stayed over. Tara and Andrea and the entire catering office and hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I had the wedding of our dreams -- they are all a fabulous team!
