First time visiting Vincents Italian restaurant .Not very impressed@all . The main Entree were good ,however I ordered a house salad.with no onions just tomato cucumber & dressing on the side. Well the salad was served in a huge bowl containing 13 pieces of chopped salad not more then i inch in diameter tomato and no cucumber. Then the waitress came over &I asked her wht happen to the cucumber she said 'ooh sorry they ran out I said it would have been appreciated had you came out and said something to me .This huge bowl of salad an about 3 diced cherry tomatoes was $13.00 definitely not worth at all !! The place needs a big over hall the ceiling vents were very dirty the wallpaper was coming off the walls and ceiling .The ladies room had plaster on the walls probably due to the fact the wall paper made holes in the wall when it was pulled off .If you dont mind a place that needs major work and major cleaning it s ok as long as you don't ask for a salad .Place is conveniently located in a busy shopping plaza therefore parking is not easy . There are many Italian restaurants in Freehold to chose from this would not be one of my favorite .Sorry did not take picture I was just in shock after I saw the dirt all over...

I made a reservation on openable of which the hostess couldn’t find and made a comment. It was just 2 of us and she proceeded to sit us near a table of 10. I told her I didn’t want to sit near a large loud party and she replied well we have reservations coming in. So instead, she sat us by a table of 8, in the main dining room who were loud. In the main dining room, which was maybe 60% full.

We rushed to eat our meal because we could hardly hear each other so we communicate a lot by text, unless we screamed. Too boot, as we finished our meal, a party of 12-14 was sat on our other side of us.

Our waitress was good, and our food came out with enough time between appetizers and main meal. Our dishes were tasty.

The acoustics in the place for small parties wanting to enjoy conversations is not good with the high ceilings. I did see several acoustic ceiling panels installed.

Honestly, they should put all the large parties in one room so small parties can actually enjoy their meal. Not sure we will return, mainly due to an...

Having dinner with some close friends and asked them to recommend a place since we were meeting them closer to where they live. We all agreed on Italian and the place they chose was called Vincent’s. The atmosphere was comforting and inviting and was eager to review the menu.

We started off with some appetizers to start and ordered the artichokes, rice balls and calamari. All were very delicious and although I’m not a fan of any type of seafood, the calamari was awesome. Would definitely recommend it. We then ordered our main courses and I had the chicken voldastana which was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend it and if you’re in the freehold NJ area, stop at Vincent’s for dinner. The other dishes that were ordered are chicken picata, beef short ribs and a pasta / seafood special.

The desserts were just as good. We ordered cannolis and the bread pudding which was excellent. Of course we had to get the cappuccinos to wash down this great desserts and it was excellent.

Give Vincent’s a try as you won’t be...

This is a average Italian restaurant which is defiantly overpriced for the quality of food or service they give. We ordered calamari as starters and the dish was chewy with lattice on base which was not fresh, their Marinara however taste homemade and good. I ordered seafood pasta which was fairly made the star of my dish was the Halibut, shrimp and lobster were not well done. My wife ordered flounder which was just OK , the broccoli rabe on side was undercooked felt as if it was left raw. Their website says they are a family owned and chef run.. did not get that feeling at all felt more like a Franchise run place with mediocre quality food and to top it up, their staff is all over the place .. for the type of money we paid for this mediocre dinner . Only good things that evening was company of my lovely wife and the wine we had taken with us as this place is a BYOB. This one is out of my list.

A highly recommended restaurant for people who wants a cozy and elegant place to get some real, scrumptious family style Italian food. My husband had the linguine with clam sauce (White wine) He was absolutely satisfied with his meal. Bread pudding was served warm and not too sweet. A perfect combination with the vanilla ice cream on the side. The Servers are very polite and detailed. We really enjoyed all the meals that we had. We are definitely coming back to try some of their best pasta! 👍👍👍
