We stayed one night had two rooms for Seton Graduation. Appreciate the room rates!!
Second, appreciate putting our family adjoining, I did not request that as I just thought we would get what we get especially for one night. So thank you!!
Iâd like to send a shoutout to the lady who ran the kitchen breakfast area on June 23rd. Her name is Teresa. She was VERY kind to my daughter who is special needs. I like to give my daughter distance to a degree in certain spaces and I tend to notice things from afar. As my daughter was getting eggs she brought a fresh pan out. She put the pan down to help her get her breakfast. You can tell that if my daughter asked for it, she was accommodating. My daughter asked for chocolate milk which you didnât have. Teresa didnât skip a beat and then thought for a minute (meanwhile still making sure breakfast was plentiful for the crowd), and offered to get her a hot chocolate instead. Which she enjoyed!! I went to leave and thank her for just being extremely sweet to my daughter, for coming down to her level and showing my daughter respect. No matter how busy she was (and she was busy), she was not once annoyed by having to help her. Nor get snippy with my daughter asking about things which she does a lot of. Most people do lose their patience. Teresa made sure to even warn her that the sausage may be too spicy FOR HER. She didnât want her to grab something that my daughter would not likeâŚagain making sure the guest was happy! When we were about to depart, I popped my head in the kitchen and I didnât get a chance to say thank you since she was scrubbing pans and cleaning. I did not want to interrupt her. I did however notice her working her buns off to make sure the needs of each of the guests were met. So thank you Teresa, your genuine kindness goes a long way!!
The front desk staff, whoever checked us in was very sweet and professional. Everything ran smoothly. Met with nothing but smiles as we passed housekeeping in elevators and hallway. The rooms are kept clean and added bonus of a mini fridge and microwave that served us well after leaving a dance at 10:30 and running to Walmart for heat and eat dinner.
Unfortunately the pool is under Reno, my daughter so wanted to swim. This did not or does not affect my review as itâs a much needed Reno and perhaps also do appreciate that since it is to ensure property maintenance. Anyway from GeorgiaâŚ.Two...
Read moreWe stayed 3 nights with our pups and were very pleased with our stay. The hotel is right off the highway, 5 minutes from skyline drive, restaurants, groceries, and just about anything you could need, while also being set back far enough that you don't feel like you're standing in the middle of all that as soon as you step outside. There is also a large grassy hill with steps on the backside of the property that ends at a small creek. very peaceful and a pleasant place to take the dogs out. I noticed they had fresh landscaping and stonework done in this area as well.
Inside the hotel you can clearly see they are currently at work renovating a large number of the rooms. As a result there was a large amount of construction material and equipment on site, but it was all located in the back and out of the way. The pool is out of commission currently as it appears to be in use for storage, but that's understandable. My daughter would have loved to use it on the rainy day we were stuck inside but she said that's the price you pay for progress and kept her chin up.
The room is your standard chain hotel room, we had 2 queen beds, desk, tv, fridge, tv with cable & hbo, free wifi if you join hilton honors (also free), and the standard soaps and washes in the bathroom. Everything was pretty standard but very neat and clean, and we had plenty of towels which is always a plus.
The one thing that really stood out to our whole family was how genuinely nice the entire staff was. We were there over 4 days so we talked to loads of housekeeping, front desk, and even maintenance staff, and everyone we interacted with was always friendly. The woman managing the breakfast spread even made a few fresh links when she noticed our kiddo eyeing the empty tray, even though it was close to closing.
We found our stay to be a very good value and coupling that with the friendly staff and obvious investment in the property by the owners, we will be sure to be back the next time we visit...
Read moreLet's start off by saying I am an hilton honor member. I have stayed at majority of the hilton brand hotel. This one stood out the most. You would not expect it because it is not in area where there are alot of things to do. I use digital check in so I have no need to bother the staff at the front desk. I walked into the room and the aroma they use is so calming and did not feel like or smell like most of the Hilton brands. You can tell the staff takes pride in ensuring you will have a great stay. The second day I had to have some items shipped overnight to the hotel. I talked with Chris to call me when the items arrived. He told me that would be no problem. That night I talked with Diane to let her know as well. They immediately called me when they arrived. I left the location where I was working to come pick the items up and Chris even had them waiting on the desk and he helped me load them into my vehicle. The young lady that worked with Chris was just excellent as well. This location just set the standard on great customer service and satisfaction for other Hilton brands to follow. This morning I asked to speak with the GM Christina but she was unavailable at that time. 15 minutes later she called me and I explained the wonderful job her staff performed during my stay. Great job to Christina and her staff. It can get frustrating when you are working on a project and then come to your hotel and find the service is not up to par. I wish I could have the whole staff at every location I go from here on out. If you read a review that is less than 5 stars just overlook it because its probably because they didnt get their bed turned down from them. I am pretty sure at this location if you ask they would have done it with a smile. Thanks again Christina and staff for the best experience I have had at any hotel. 2 thumbs up and 2 big toes...
