Los Potrillos — Restaurant in Virginia

My family and I, who are African American, have consistently received unfair and biased service. On our initial visit, the greeters at the door were exceedingly rude. I initially attributed this behavior to a bad day; however, every subsequent experience has been identical. The manager and servers display overtly mean behavior and are unfriendly. They make a point to greet all tables of white customers warmly while ignoring us. This has occurred on multiple occasions. If you are African American, it appears that you will not receive good service at this establishment. This is the United States of America, where everyone is to be treated, kind , fair and equal. The service at this restaurant does not display that . They are not inclusive to African Americans, and do not want us in their restaurant. It shows in their behavior. They need to change this , my family and I will never eat here again. The last time we were there, they burnt my husband’s food and that should have never came out to us that way, and I will report them...

Said 20-25 minute wait. After being outside in the rain for 55 minutes. They had 3 parties planned and even they had to wait over an hour past their scheduled time smh. Like seriously, it’s not hard to plan properly, get people in and checked out in a timely manner. I don’t know how the food is, being other than walking in to check the time frame so there is that. I would not recommend this place due to this lack of service prior to getting in to eat. It is my birthday to boot which I told the host. Not to mention that I have a disabled mother with a cane who tried her best to wait. And the host had knowledge of that. Not once was she offered a seat to sit on. While traveling back from a funeral, my son who lives in the area and I decided to meet up for an early dinner. We decided on Mexican food and this was the restaurant that I pulled up to right off I-66 in Front Royal. Parked and made my way inside. I was immediately greeted and I chose to sit at the bar until my son arrived. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I ordered some chips and queso (cheese dip) as an appetizer along with a tall beer. After my son arrived, we got a booth and proceeded to chat and make our choices of dinner. Our food came out hot, fresh, fast and was delicious. He had 3 beef tacos and I had the fajitas. Everything was good to the last bite and pricing very reasonable. No complaints about the food, the staff or the restaurant. 100% give this place a go if you have a hankering for some good...
