Hotel is a disgrace, health hazard and no customer service. Let’s start off with management of this facility should be fired or sell the property to begin with, doesn’t understand and neither speak properly to customers. Very rude and disrespectful and more importantly a liar! Besides that, let’s just say all of the rooms are disgusting, filled with mold in the ceilings, on the walls and chairs. Outlets are burnt out, lamps are stained from throughout the years. Walls as well stained with cigarette stains, and discoloration from microbial growth. Toilet doesn’t have a cover and neither would it flush properly. Sink with a broken faucet and leaking in the bottom, shower curtains filled with stains and mold. Shower head was yellow and discoloration definitely didn’t take a shower inside, I needed to place a towel to shower inside that tub. Spider webs in the ceiling. Looks like they just place fiber glass in the ceiling and sprayed paint into the fiber glass. The room has glass sliding door, with one side with glass and the other side had plywood to cover the opening. And wasn’t even nailed down right that it had openings. Definitely a health issue not just for me but for anyone that stays there, but obviously they don’t care. All they care about is stealing your money. The carpet in the hallway you can tell it hasn’t been cleaned in years, and you can smell the mold from previous water damages happened in the property. They ask for a $50 deposit which they’re suppose to give it back to you, and agreed by management but they make their own rules and excuses not to give it back to you and keep it. I don’t think that’s right and especially if you as a manager of the place; you need to keep your word and not steal from people and lie to them. When that individual is counting on the money for any reason, also the management screams at you, and worse that he has an accent and can’t understand when you speak ENGLISH to him and he doesn’t understand you and makes his rules as the day goes. The pool is literally black water, with frog eggs and frogs itself living inside the pool. The place is beat down to the ground. I’m in shocked that this place is even open for business, it’s a disgrace. I will never step foot in there again and not even give them a dime of my money. And the nerve to charge what they charge for a place like that. It’s not right to me or to anybody. I would prefer to stay inside a tent outside before coming into this place. Hope this doesn’t go to deaf ears and someone or somebody does something about and get that place out of business. Obviously all they care about is taking your money, instead of fixing up the place from all of the money they steal from the people and they don’t care about safety or health. Read moreI've had bad motel experiences before, but this one was THE WORST!
Upon check-in, the..gentleman, let's say...was dismissive of me but was decent to my Brother. We got to our room and we were instantly bombarded with a musty, urine and mold smell. Upon inspection, we found the dried urine on the floor by the mini fridge. It was a "non-smoking" room, yet there's MANY cigarette burns on the bedding (don't get me started on the smell of the bedding) and stains everywhere. The room was DEFINITELY NOT CLEAN.
I took these pictures and I went to management and I asked him if he ever checks the rooms to make sure they're cleaned before renting them out and he first said yes. I showed him the photos and I asked him if it was possible he missed checking our room.
Next thing I know, he's yelling at me, then BLAMES the "new housekeeper" and then says that he doesn't check the rooms. He said that he will refund my money and that his hotel is not for me and started gaslighting me. So I said that I was going to get my Brother and he kept saying that he was trying to work with me. Wait? When? Between insults and blaming others and gaslighting? He did NOT in any way offer to work with me.
We vacated the room. Quickly. We cancelled our end of the reservation and got the cash deposit back.
When my Brother tried to cancel the reservation and explained why, they tried to call the hotel and he never answered. My Brother decided after an hour of trying (meanwhile, we're sitting in our vehicles in the Florida sweltering sun) he decided that he was going to drive over to the motel while he had Booking on the phone. He walked into the office and told him to answer his phone or answer his email. The.. person... Denied the phone ringing or getting any emails. So my Brother handed him his phone and told him to talk to Booking and tell them to refund me. He did.
Now I have to wait 7-14 business days to get my refund.

Read moreI booked this room 3 weeks in advance through a call center that was affiliated with Wyndham. We arrived before checking-in time and asked the front desk clerk if we could just park our vehicle so we could head to the UF game. The clerk photo copied my drivers license & debit card, had me put our phone numbers and vehicle description and signature on the paper. Thinking that this was because we were early, I had no problem with it. Upon returning from the game, we picked up our room key at the desk and asked if they still had my personal information. My husband was told that they keep the information "on file". After a horrible nights rest in a disgusting room, I felt really uncomfortable leaving my personal information photo copied at this establishment for its drug dealers & prostitutes to possibly get ahold of. My husband & I promptly got up at 8:30am to check out and while turning in the keys at the front desk my husband asked the clerk for the copy of my info. The clerk refuses to give it to us, says they keep it for "tax purposes". Mind you, the room was pain IN FULL and no further damage was caused by us. I tried to explain calmly to the clerk that I was not comfortable leaving my personal information and I would call the local law enforcement to come out to settle the dispute. So, while my husband was on the desk phone with the manager, I was on the phone with a local deputy who told me that if the room was paid in full they COULD NOT keep a paper copy of my personal information!! It's a form of identity theft!! In the end, the clerk gave me the copy back... Shadiest motel EVER! |BE SMART! DO NOT...
