Absolutely the Worst Experience I’ve Ever Had at Firehouse Subs
I’ve always enjoyed Firehouse Subs, but my recent visit was completely ruined by one employee—Latoya (I think this was her name). Her attitude was beyond unacceptable. From the moment I walked in, she was rude, dismissive, and acted like helping customers was a burden. There was zero professionalism, no greeting, no eye contact—just straight-up disrespect.
When I asked a simple question about my order, she responded with clear irritation and sarcasm, like I was bothering her by just being there. The tone she used throughout the interaction was condescending and borderline hostile. I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant before.
What’s even more disappointing is that Firehouse is known for its friendly service—and this experience was the exact opposite. Latoya’s behavior completely changed the way I feel about coming back. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this crossed the line. No customer should be treated this way.

Read moreI always come to NW 13th st Firehouse subs in Gainsville when I take my granny for chemo and go to the dentist so about 2 times A WEEK. Today I was incredibly angry. I only had cash. Which means you place the order. Go to the counter and pay. Then they make your food. After I ordered, I approached the employees at the front counter and she would not acknowledge me but acknowledged everyone around and behind me. I ordered at 1208. After 10 minutes I said something to the lady who stood directly in front of me the entire time. She said, and I quote "that's your problem you want to stand there, I done could been had that done". I said ma'am. I stood in front of you this entire time ..."not my problem". I them did not receive my food after I paid at 1218 until 1247..they were not busy. I ordered my food take out and the lady said new policy I can't give you a bag...so I'm juggling all my food? I ordered it take out ..... They talked about me the entire time I waited on my food. Read moreDon’t waste your time coming here. The 13th street location has to be the worst location by far. I sat in the drive through and waited for two sandwiches for almost 15mins. I watched staff walk around on phones, converse with each other all while the line behind me was building up because one person was making all the subs. I sat in the drive thru so long I parked and went in and still had to wait another 8mins. All of that only to get the sandwiches and they be made WRONG. I will never patronize this location and I will tell others not to do so as well. No apology, no discount, not even a sorry for your wait. One of my kids has an allergy to cheese so one of the sandwiches wasn’t suppose to have cheese. They didn’t even mark the sandwiches. That alone is a hazard. This has to be the most dense bunch of employees when it comes to pride in the food industry. These are not free subs yet they’re making them like they’re doing us a favor. I even heard one of the employee saying “what them people gone do to me.” I am completely disgusted with how this business is ran. Never again.
