Avenue Motel — Hotel in Gardena

Very clean and secure motel. The management has very strict rules, which keeps the place functioning at a great price. The motel is older, but the rooms have been renovated and look and function perfectly. Flat panel tv's, great cable selection, microwave and refrigerator in the room, fast wifi, very good working A/C.

The entrance to the motel is a double edged sword. It keeps the motel very secure, but being only 1 vehicle wide it does pose as an occasional bottle neck. It is also very short so taller vehicles would be restricted to street parking only.

If you are a budget conscious individual, you really can't go wrong with The Avenue Motel.

I could have easily given this model 5 stars, but left it at 4. There isn't much within walking distance and it's not near a freeway. This, of course isn't the fault of the motel. I just want to give an honest review so that anyone reading this can make an informed decision...

Beautiful rooms with renovated restrooms. Very comfortable closed in parking lot and the people there are respectful and nice. I gifted a whole luggage of knomes to their little girl because I couldn't carry them on my trip. Turns out they had been looking for them everywhere for their little girls bday party. Great motel and good price. Rooms were clean and spacious. The lady on the front desk was very nice and helpful. Free parking spaces just in front of the room made loading and unloading very quick and easy. Good selections of shops nearby. Not too far from the airport so it was great for me to stop...
