Great empanadas, BUT one thing:

Today, July 30, 2024, at 12:20 PM, the cashier was ridiculously rude.

No greeting to customers; instead, she (cashier) yells with an angry voice to everyone who walks in, “cash only.”

Her customer service skills are non-existent. If an individual doesn’t like this type of job for whatever reason, please find something else. It’s very uncomfortable for people who come excited to get their things and are greeted by the first person in a business with an unfriendly attitude. It gives me the impression that I don’t want to come back here. I know this is a great place to buy empanadas, and I empathize with people who have bad days, but I really, really hope that I will never see the cashier I encountered today. I hope she can find a job that...

I've passed this market many times and finally decided to stop because they advertise that they sell Empanadas. I'm glad that I stopped. It's a small market with a butcher on site. The meat on display looks fresh and can be cut to size. They also marinate the meat if you request them to. They have items in the market like a grocery store but less of a selection. You do pay more than you would at a grocery store but it's convenient. The empanadas are made fresh when you order them. They stamp the letters on the empanadas so you will know what you are about to eat ( for example SPINACH has an SP stamped on it). The empanadas are $20.00 for a dozen. Treat yourself...

Use to be a good market before the new ownership. Never going here again last time I was here I asked for a pound of cárnitas that were suppose to be cooked when I get to the register they want to charge me double what they said per pound then the cashier says sorry the guy that handles the meat put extra same thing happened to my dad the last 3xs he went. They force you to buy more than you asked for not a good way to sell to people. I get home and the cárnitas are half cooked I had to recook them myself.
