Avoid This Business – Dishonest and Unprofessional!
I wish I could give zero stars. My experience with this company was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Dishonest Sales Team – I was explicitly told that the bed I purchased was made of solid wood. When it arrived, it was NOT solid wood, proving that I was blatantly lied to just to make a sale. Delivery Disaster – The first scheduled delivery never happened because their truck supposedly broke down. I waited all day with no updates. They just missed their delivery window and left me hanging. Damaged Furniture & Deception – When the delivery finally happened, the team hid a broken part of the dresser by pushing it as close as possible to the wall. A security camera recorded the whole thing—they knowingly delivered damaged furniture and tried to cover it up instead of being honest! Uncooperative Management – When I called about the damage and the fact that I was misled about the material, the manager refused to accept a return, even though she admitted over the phone that the dresser was damaged. Replacement Nightmare – The manager ordered a replacement, and we rescheduled delivery. On the new delivery day, they no-showed AGAIN. When I called, I was told they were “4 minutes away,” but by then, I couldn’t wait any longer. When I voiced my frustration, the manager lost her temper and told me to sue her!
This is by far the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Between the dishonesty, damaged furniture, failed deliveries, and rude management, I wouldn’t recommend this business to my worst enemy.

Read moreWriting my review again because somehow my review from 2018 was deleted. My wife and I purchased a $2,000 bedroom set from Max Furniture in December of 2017. The first delivery attempt our dresser arrived broken, second delivery our dresser came broken again, third time was a charm. Well at least that's what we thought. Fast forward a week later to January 2018. While sitting just sitting on our new 2,000$ bed, one of the four brace holding up the bed broke. Then the 2nd, then third, the fourth brace is cracked but still in tact. Our bed is leaning really bad. When reported to MAx Furniture they tried to charge us to delivery another brace. After being told our brace will be delivered Sunday February 25th between 3-6pm nobody ever came. The next day we were told it will be delivered from 5-8 we waited and nobody came again. We called again Tuesday and was told our delivery will Arrive between 4-7 again nobody came. We called Wednesday and was informed no order for delivery was ever made. WOW right! Now today March 1,2018 we were told delivery will be from 12-3pm and it is now 630pm and nobody has arrived . We will never never never buy anything from Max Furniture again . Read moreHere is what I am going to say. I have purchased furniture from Max furniture for over 5 years now. I feel that they try to meet the needs of their customers, and the furniture I have purchased has served me well. I do feel that when they make a mistake they should own it as we are not perfect, so own mistakes when they are made., Also, they do need to be more transparent regarding delivery fees, and ensure when you state you will contact the customer ,do that. Customers don't want to hear excuses about why they were not contacted, and finally when you ask to speak to the owner or person in charge of who you are speaking to, this should be readily given, no questions asked. Maybe have a hotline for customers to call to leave feedback or an address to send a letter, not stating you can call everyday to see if he is here (I met him, he is a nice fair guy, with a good customer service focus). Again, I have no complaints regarding the furniture, I have found good items here, but I have had issues with scheduling deliveries, or deliveries not arriving when scheduled, and the cost to deliver when the location is down the street.
