Astro Burgers #7 — Restaurant in Gardena

$13.22 for a hamburger special...ok not a problem, it seemed extremely high, but I was in a hurry for a quick lunch...when I asked for thousand island dressing they attempted to charge me 50 cents . I truly think it was outrageous. To top it off the lady was rude and told me its not expensive and she indicated to go to McDonalds. I asked for my money back and left. I went down the street to Rick's ad got the same thing for $2 dollars less... plus the service was exceptional at Ricks and they even had a smile on their face :)

Customer service means a lot. Sometimes the price is not the issue but the overall service...DON'T go to Astro...

Astro Burgers is one of my favorite places to go .My dad and I use to eat homemade polish sandwiches and I have to say that they make them just as good. It's obvious to me that the cook puts a lot of effort into cooking and aims to please the customer. That's a plus for me. They have such a big selection of food that you can choose from. The Cheeseburger and Chile cheese fries are delicious. Everything is fresh. When I leave I'm one happy customer. I also love the fact that they have a drive thru!! I've been coming here since I was a kid when my folks moved the family to Gardena. Their burger and fries are solid. You can expect to get it hot and freshly made. Their cook is on point and gets the orders done in a timely manner. Their breakfast burrito is really good and I highly recommend it. I found it hard to not stop by in the mornings for the burrito. Since I drive past it so often. Overall a solid spot if you are looking for a mom and pop style...
