Okay so the place was clean because they had just don't renovations. But we could not get a trash can, could not get a do not disturb or privacy sign for our door, had to use a piece of paper taped to it, and also there was no towel hooks or coat hooks. The toilet seat was on a permanent angle that could not be straightened so, yeah part of your leg would touch the toilet bowl if you weren't careful.. The bed was actually comfortable with the pillows being not so comfortable. Found out our refrigerator did not work after plugging it in then leaving to go get dinner and coming back with leftovers and a warm fridge, but they brought us another one right away. We had a gap in our door that was almost a half an inch wide at the bottom letting in plenty of noise from the road, also we saw the rubber door seal hanging out of the top of the door when we came back once. Was locked out of our room once when our key card just stopped working and took about a half an hour to get in because their master key wouldn't work and they had to go to Walmart to get something to let us in I forget what it was. We were curious as to what we were going to get for the price of this place which was really cheap I think it was like $60 a night and we wouldn't have done it if the rooms didn't look so good being just remodeled. But it was what it was and you get what you pay for so just letting others know what to expect. I do believe they love Fat Kats take out also (which does has some good food, review coming soon) as they seem to have had it every time I saw them, even saw the maintenance guy there while we were. He's cool. Oh yeah one of the employees there has an interesting bumper sticker...

The worst I've ever stayed at. I would sleep in my car and take a shower in a gym if I have to; but never come back here.

There's no service given for the whole week I was here. Staff tries to be nice, but they are rude! No concept of customer service at all.

They greed you with what charges are extra and things that weren't listed in your reservation!

The only plus thing is that their rooms are upgraded. The one I was in seemed to be under construction since microwave was not installed!!!

UPDATE After Red Roof management response: I wanted to take the time to thank Red Roof management for responding to my review. However, just letting you know that this was The Worst experience of my hotel/extended_stay rental ever!

There were also unrecognized/extra charges on my credit card by them, which I am going to wait three business days for my credit card to clear up and see if they would refund me. If a refund of extra charges (none of which were authorized BTW) are not issued, I have no choice but to file a dispute and report this fraudulence to BBB and town authorities for investigation!

BTW, I am open to discussing in details; in case management cares! Also, it should be noted that I do not have time for such long review writings; but this was so bad that I decided to take time...

As a resident of Georgetown, Kentucky for my whole life, I’ve been able to watch this hotel exist pretty much all that I can remember. And I also know that it was at one point thought of as pretty much a dope den and a place to hang out and do bad things, but I want to put this review on here to state for the record that the red roof in in Georgetown, Kentucky has been remodeled and renovated, and is absolutely amazing with what they have done. It’s not easy to take on a project when somebody else has left a bad taste in the mouth of others or maybe the community of such, but with this place here and the men and women that are running it. It is absolutely somewhere to bring your kids and family and enjoy a stay for a day or even more but regardless of all that I make this post to help out them as a business because it’s not easy to pick up someone else’s problems and fix them and then be an attraction at the same time and this is exactly what these people have done. They’ve took on something that was a project to fix. They put their efforts into it and their Result Looks good. If I could give them a 10 star, then I would, but let’s just keep it at five and say "there doing great". I look forward to see what they can do with the rest of the property moving forward...
