I do like this location because it’s close to the highway if you need to get out fast. Initially walking in. There was a very bad garlicky musty odor in the lobby but once I got in on the third floor that smell went away. The check-in process was a little frustrating for me because I called ahead the day before and let them know that I was coming in from out of town to attend a funeral and that I will be in by 6 PM to check in the man said it was fine, but when I was at the funeral, got called by the front desk to tell me if I did not pay by 3:30 PM they will not hold my room. However, once I got there, the young man at the front was very nice the elevators were down so we had to walk up three flights to get to our room our room was clean the bed was comfortable and for the price it is what it is. The only bad thing I can say about the room is that I felt like the floor was going to cave in because there was some spots on the floor, that appeared to be damaged and being on the third floor that was scary because it felt like if you stepped in the wrong spot, your foot was going straight through. Other than that it was only a one night stay, so it wasn’t that bad didn’t eat the breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. And I really appreciated the mini fridge and the microwave in the rooms. My room was very quiet for the most part, but it could’ve been because I was all the way up on the third floor around the corner at the very last room.

My biggest issue with this place wasn’t the hotel it’s self but the rude, ignorant and inconsiderate people who stay here. We had to call the front desk quite a few times at 11 o’clock day night, Because people are so incredibly inconsiderate to others if you wanna cackle at 11 o’clock at night a hotel isn’t for you. Get a Airbnb if you wanna cackle with all your friends and be up super late get an Airbnb. On the other side of us people were also up all night just being obnoxious tv was blaring at 12 a.m., banging around in there room throwing stuff around. The price for this hotel after taxes and all with the condition of the room is a little bit pricey for the quality you get. I’m aware it’s not a 5 star hotel or anything but as soon as we walk into the room the bathroom door is peeling of paint and had a black goo on the walls not ideal for someone who has a toddler with them. As well as the microwave and tv remote not working. I’m also pretty positive the “queen” mattresses are just actually full size beds on a queen frame. Every floor smells like pot and hookah even tho you’re in a non smoking room. All in all i probably won’t be staying at this location again but just a few things that could be fixed fairly easy.

Traveling with a pet is fraught with challenges…especially if you refuse to pay exorbitant pet fees. That’s where the Red Roof Inn comes in. It’s one of the few truly pet-friendly hotel chains. That brings us to the Red Roof PLUS+. We got here late…had we gotten here earlier, we would have likely tried to find a different place to stay. Our welcoming committee was a nice cockroach laying belly up in the floor of our room and a terrible musty odor. We concluded that we have stayed in worst places (mostly in 3rd world nations), so we toughed it out. This is one of those hotels where you definitely pull the sheets back and check for bugs. All the reviewers talking about the sketchy neighborhood, the lack of cleanliness, broken glass, unsecured doors are right. You can hear every step people take in the room above. There was a nice smell of pot in the hallway. We didn’t risk breakfast. During daylight hours, there was evidence of an active homeless population in the area. Definitely not worth the inflated weekend rate. Hopefully they’re investing these inflated rates in cleaning up this property.

If I could give this a place a zero star rating I would. Be weary when you stay at this hotel. So many issues and so many things went wrong. The hot tub water was yellow and smelled like literal pee. When stepping outside from pool area it smelled like there was a propane leak because it was strong! Pool itself was also pretty dirty. After basically our entire stay which was a week, they finally what seems drained the hot tub and refilled it but filter system does not work so it’s just stirring water around. So nasty and took them a week to even look at it which is gross and shows how much they do not care. Besides the pool we had to get two rooms because we have an autistic son and it’s just easier for us. One of the rooms smelled moldy, musky, and I mean absolutely horrible! They refused to give us a different room and gave us an air freshener that looks like it was meant for a bathroom. We made multiple complaints about the pool and our room through our entire stay there and none of it was ever resolved. When checked out we made it five minutes down the road and received a notification for a “damage fee”. Called to see what that was and they said stain on the sheets that they attempted to get out and was unable too. In five minutes they attempted it?!?!? We asked for them to provide proof of course the sheet was in the “dumpster”. They even said they took “pictures” and we gave our email and just like we thought never received them, probably because they don’t exist and are just money hungry. On top of everything else when mentioning the quality of the pool and room they said we never put in a complaint, we told them who we talked to and they said “well they don’t speak good english” okay? But it was a worker and we mentioned it to a few people…apparently all of them struggle with English? Who knows! It was suppose to be a smoke free facility and our whole floor ranked of weed and cigarettes. Of course nothing happened with that and I was told “it’s a smoke free facility” so I guess people never break rules. We even went and checked better business bureau and found other complaints stating they have charged people for damages that have also not existed and even asked for proof and never was given. They are not accredited with BBB with a C- rating, which shows that they are not a place with high integrity or ethics. I would avoid this place at all costs. Dirty, money hungry, and unethical business. Save your money and...

This was the dirtiest and most unsafe place I have ever stayed. I was here with my parents and my 3 kids. We had 2 rooms beside each other. When you walk in the lobby it smells clean like most hotels. But once you get to the elevator you quickly realize how dirty this place is. In the elevator a electrical panel was being held on the wall my clear masking tape. The walls are all scratched up. On the 3rd floor you immediately smelled a musty old smell. There were stains all over the carpet. Including a stain right in front of our door, that I accidentally stepped on and my shoe completely stuck to it and my foot came out. So I don't even want to know what that could have been. Then inside the room, the floor still had trash on it, the toilet had hair on it, the bathroom door wouldn't close, the air conditioner was completely off and it's 95° outside, the bottom rubber part of the fridge door is hanging off so you have to pull up on the door and push the rubber piece under it just to close the door. It was one thing after another. The most frustrating part is that when I checked in I was told that if my kids made a mess in the room I couldn't use the towels in the room to clean it, I needed to come downstairs and get different towels. And if I did use the ones in the room and they found any stains on them they would charge us. They also told me if there were any stains on the bed they would charge us. Giving me rules like that makes me think you have a really clean hotel. But it was the total opposite. They also had a rule that you couldn't bring the breakfast from downstairs back up to your room. I find that to be a silly rule. With how early the breakfast is it's really hard to get all 3 of my kids up and dressed and down in the lobby to eat. It's much easier to bring it all up to the room and have them eat when they wake up. I couldn't bring the breakfast from the hotel up but they watched me bring breakfast from other restaurants up to my room and didn't say anything. 2 rooms away from me were employees that were living there. They kept their door open quite often and the room was just packed full of stuff. I felt very unsafe the entire time I was there. The only good thing was that it was only a 2 minute drive to Creekfire campground where other family members were staying. Do not waste your money here! There's a super nice hotel across the street and it less...

When I checked in there was a very nice young man at the front desk. I booked through priceline & I saw at the front desk there was a $50 deposit which I did not have. The guy only charged $1.50 to my card never even mentioned the deposit. Said they just needed to have a card on file in case there were any issues. The room was clean & beds were comfortable. The first few days were great for the most part. I had no problems extending my stay & staying in the same room. The third day I was told my room was booked already so I could extend it but I would need to switch rooms. Not a problem.... I was in a premium room & moved to a deluxe instead (basically the same room to be honest). After that day it was one thing after another with the manager. I don't know what her problem was with me & my family after that point because no one else on the staff had the attitude she did. For starters twice I extended the stay, through priceline, and she tried to claim that I had booked a different room than I was already in & to stay in the same room would cost more. Which made absolutely no sense because I was in the cheaper room already. That is when she insisted we needed to pay the $50 deposit all of a sudden even though we had only been doing the $1.50 everyday up til that point. We went across the street to get it, atm only gives even numbers & of course she did not have change so I ended up paying $60. But she let us stay in the room. The next day same issue so I showed her what I saw on my end & again she let us stay in the same room. Finally got the chance to go check out the indoor pool & spa. Both were freezing cold & one staff member kept coming around the corner looking at us as if we were doing something wrong. We asked how long it took for the spa to heat up & she said it does not work. The next day we left. It's not a very comfortable stay if you feel watched & harassed the entire stay for no reason. That's why I gave it 3 stars. Other than that & the pool/spa being broke it was a decent stay. But again, there was no reason for her to create issues to get us to leave just because for whatever reason she didn't want us there. Now I see why I never saw the same people more than a day or two. She ran...
