15 years... That's how long we've been visiting this Hooters. Never and I mean NEVER have we had the service and treatment we had tonight from both the manager and the server. So let's start with the facts. We were a party of 9 celebrating a birthday on 9/15. The restaurant was NOT busy at all. Nicole our server was nice. Took our order (3 tickets, we ordered in groups according to how we were paying) she called it back out and everything was right but then EVERYTHING took a turn for the worse. Our liquor drinks and beer took about 15-20 mins and by the time we got them (delivered by another server) they were either watered down or room temp drafts, YET WE Didn't COMPLAIN. About 20 mins later our appetizers (we ordered them when we ordered drinks) came out but no silverware or plates were provided and we were all sharing, again there were 9 of us. By they time we got plates and silverware our appetizers were cold. YET, ONCE AGAIN WE DIDN'T COMPLAIN, But it gets worse. We wait about another 30 mins and still no salads so we asked our waitress if she could check on them, 10 mins later she comes back with them but 2/3 were wrong but quick fixes, AGAIN WE STILL DIDN'T COMPLAIN just please fix our salads. Then all of a sudden our entrees were being sat on the table and I didn't even have the dressing on my salad YET. When I asked our server why everything was coming out at once, I was informed they serve salads with the entrees, (WTH? Who does that) Okay, So I explained that they can have the salad back because I had my wings now and I don't want them to get cold. This prompted the manager to come over and ask why I returned the salad. I explained I didn't want my wings to get cold since everything had come out together. She apologized and walked away. The waitress came back not even 7 mins later said "I heard we have a surprise are you ready for your cupcakes?" I replied with "We just GOT our food." She said "oh, I'm sorry do you need boxes?" So at this point everyone just said yea go ahead and bring the boxes because some of them were served cold food anyways so they were just going to heat it up at home. We had to tell her how the checks are supposed to be again and after 8-10 minutes pass and she brings us our checks, I asked for a refill on water and the cupcakes for the bday girl. BUT I NEVER GOT my water so when i asked they waitress again she walks away never to return, however the manager takes over and says there's an issue with the server and she wasn't sending any of the other hooters girls to our table. We sat there stunned as the manager retrieved our debit cards. We still didn't have the cupcakes or my water so I kindly asked for them again. She said "yea sure" and walked away. Now keep in mind we haven't complained once, We weren't rude or ugly when she brings us our slips back she turned to walk away but turned back around and said "our server NICOLE just came back from having surgery and she was trying her best. Then she snubs her nose at us and walks away.. WAIT, WHAT JUST HAPPENED?? Never once did we complain. Never were we rude in ANY way, and Never did we ask for a discount or free food. I even paid for my salad, but YET we are the ones being mistreated by the manager. We've never been treated so bad. She walked away so fast we didn't even have a chance to ask what had happened nor did she care to know everything that had gone wrong. It was the worst...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis review pains me as I love Hooter's food and restraunts, usually....this was an experience I wished I had on video. My family of six stops to eat, and we eat big and tip big too, but this time we met two men standing at the door on their phones that said discouragingly it was a 45 to 60 minute wait. I stepped inside to see only maybe 5% capacity. I watched 3 waitresses chat in their back booth, dip into the bathroom, and one checked her customers near the hostess stand where another family of 5 stood in front of me, and 9 other persons in multiple parties. We got our hopes up thinking the waitress may speak to us but she walked. So we had stood for 15 minutes, me ans these 14 other ppl, my family standing outside, total of 19 ppl none had been even spoken to, in order to know the wait, or plan thwir next step. It was rude and negligent to see all these available staff just standing around and all the open tables. Not to mention there were at least 4 ppl in the kitchen. So I asked the bartender to see the manager. She was polite and said she would get her. I followed the waitress through the kitchen doors to the managers office to find the manager, Savannah was on her shirt, short, wavy hair, leaned back in her reclined office chair on her personal cell phone scrolling facebook. So lemme reitterate. Waitresses standing around chatting, over 20 people standing at the door for almost 20 minutes without being spoken to, and the manager in the back on her cell phone. The manager was not happy about being caught so she made sure to say several times I wasn't supposed to come through through the doors to the kitchen (and catch her not managing). She told me "no one had come to get her to let her know she was needed" to which I told her that she is the manager and paid to manage the store and needs to be going around to each position to help and manage. I explained how it is supposed to work and then left and took my family elsewhere. This manager needs replaced. This store was staffed plenty well enough to handle the few ppl coming in, but was unmamaged and had the staff aloof and not working. Im sick to death of the excuses for ppl not to work. This is PURE LAZINESS. Disgusted...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLOCALS HERE!! We have been going to Hooters for quite sometime now and we just had the WORST POSSIBLE SERVICE! Letās lay out the facts: we were a table of 9, we got there around 7:20 9/15 for a birthday dinner. The server, Nicole, was nice throughout the service she provided. However, she didnāt bring out the salads until the food was ready as well and the salads were wrong - a table of 9 does not have room for that. The food came out at different times and multiple plates were cold and wrong (which we didnāt even mention). The alcoholic beverages were brought watered down each time and by different people because our server was āgoneā. Came out to our table and says āso I hear we have a surprise?ā (The cupcakes for the birthday girlā¦. Intending to bring them out when we had JUST gotten our food). Then, after taking a drink off the table and just deciding NOT to come back⦠the āmanagerā took over⦠we were NEVER RUDE!!! Please keep that in mind, yes we were a large table, yes, we needed corrections made to our food. Yes, we had general requests of drink refills and extra sauces. However, at the end of our mealā¦. Tickets signed, everything said and done. The MANAGER (larger woman w/ glasses) looks at us and says ā just so you know, that server just came back from surgery and was trying her bestā gives us an AWFUL look and storms off like a teenager without trying to understand or even ask what happenedā¦. We never asked for discount, or refunds or special treatment. We just wanted drinks and food like everyone that goes to a restaurant. If the server wasnāt ready to come back to work or receive a 9-top sat in her section⦠or if she needed help, the manager should have been there to help or back her with whatever she needed. We wouldāve put up with upset or poor service from a server BUT A MANAGER SNUBBING US AND RUNNING OFF⦠ESCALATING A POOR SITUATION WAS BAFFLING! The owner can view the cameras and see we were smiling, stacking dirty plates to help our server⦠We never shouldāve received that service from a manager and it was VERY...
