Mattress Firm Granbury — Hotel in Granbury

Our shopping experience was great. Thomas helped us and took the time to allow us to try multiple different mattresses. We would recommend the store and Thomas. However, we would not recommend their “Red carpet delivery” service. It was a hot mess. Yesterday, 9/7/2021, their delivery driver from 5 Star Delivery was driving without his license and therefore could not get through our security gate. We notified the store who then told us another truck would meet up with this truck and they would switch drivers. We then get a call from our security gate stating they are asking random construction contractors and people walking down the street to drive the truck through the gate. This is a HUGE liability for Mattress Firm, our community, and ourselves. We spoke to the delivery manager Mark to tell him that was unacceptable. We then called the store again to notify them of what was happening. They called the delivery manager Mark, and told them to stop. They then reschedule the delivery for us for Saturday. About 10 minutes later the delivery manager Mark calls again and tells us another crew will deliver the mattress within an hour and a half. At 2 hours later, Mark calls again asking if they were there. They pulled up right as he called. Our mattress was delivered and the base was put together. Mattress Firm did refund the delivery fee for the all day inconvenience, and are shipping us a new sheet set as well. Our frustration lies with the delivery company. They should not be driving a vehicle without their license or putting other people at an inconvenience because they failed to do their jobs properly. Hopefully Mattress Firm will reconsider using 5 Star Delivery as their delivery company...

I originally went and bought a Tempur pedic mattress and am still making payments on a thankfully interest free loan on it. (As a side note, tempur pedic mattress soften dramatically after a couple years (which I didn't know) and do not feel as comfortable as it originally did) I went over there again to try to buy a contoured pillow and as a pretty novice purchaser again got easily swayed to a fairly expensive one which after using for a couple weeks realized was too hard for me (but there is no return policy on pillows). Mind you, their prices are matched very well with other retailers, even from buying from Amazon (which I checked before buying). I would say if you are wanting to buy, this is a good place to go, but take care not to get up-sold. (Can't hold it against the employees, as they ARE just doing their job... A little too well grumble) After doing a little more research, perhaps buy a decent mattress that is comfortable (and relatively inexpensive) and then buy a topper which you can easily replace every few years when...

Well, I went in to Matress Firm today and found me self a right nice comfortable mattress. I've had plenty of backaches and know alot about them but not much about all the new matress types they got now. But lucky for me they did. Very courteous and nice people right out of the chute. Not like them car salesman heckling the crap out of you till your forced to leave. Then after browsing and looking, laying on, jumping and flipping all them mattresses I ask about a couple I really took a smitten to and boy were these guys knowledgeable, really made me feel good about the quality, workmanship and there 120 night tryout period. And I ain't no paid product reviewer, hate it when people have to pay someone to say good things about there products. It's not just about buying a quality matress but fitting it to your specific sleep pattern which I knew nothing about, but they did. So if your in the market for a new matress I'd say ck em out cuz they got great sales...
